Pizza Dough I

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2008
This was very easy to make, but we did not like this dough at all. Followed the recipe to a "T". I'll keep looking; thanks anyway.

Steak Tip Marinade

I changed the dressing to Red Wine Vinagrette and used the broiler instead of the girl and it came out pretty awesome. My husband and my 19 moth old daughter loved it.

Pork Chops Stuffed with Smoked Gouda and Bacon

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2008
this was delicious, and very easy to put together. i sauted some red peppers, onions, garlic and mushrooms in a small amount of the bacon drippings, along with some chicken broth to serve on top. everyone loved it. simple, but classy enough to serve for company.

i'm on my third one, so i guess they are good! only rated a 4 because i changed it up a little, instead of the lime and sugar, i used sour mix. delicious!

This is very good. Made as written, however I think with the leftovers I am going to add a smidge of ketchup. I will use this again.

Olive and Feta Pasta

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2008
I added sausage for our meat loving house and to make more filling. I had to use canned mushrooms. My fresh oregano went well with this. I used more feta than called for, I had two containers here and didn't measure, just eye balled it. I will make again.

Mulligatawny Soup I

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2008
Very good soup. I made a couple of minor changes...no rice or flour, just added one potato. No stewed tomatoes, I despise them in soup. I didn't have mace, or cloves. I also added some ginger/garlic paste, cumin, lentils and a pinch of cayenne. Turned out really good. Even my DD liked it, and that was most surprising!

Bake Sale Lemon Bars

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2008
i made these as written, however, i will now use others recommendations for doubling the filling and not putting the topping to the edge of the pan. mine turned very brown and hard around the edges. i simply cut out the middle and at the "bones" later on.

Grilled Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwich

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2008
Haven't thought of this flavor combination before, but this really makes a regular peanut butter sandwich taste great. The slight modification I used was to put a little bit of agave nectar (or regular honey will do) on the bottom of the pan while cooking to give the bread a little sweet outer crust. Be careful, though, as this makes the bread easier to burn so watch it when you're cooking.

i really did love this, although it was a pain in the neck for me to make...no mortor and pestle...had to improvise...don't ask. i don't know if i made it correctly. came out almost looking like mayo. thick, creamy and white. it was delicious, but didn't make much. thanks, i might make again.

Gumbo Style Chicken Creole

This was pretty good. I didn't make it too spicy so my son could eat it too. I did add some dried thyme to it. It was a good dish to use up my leftover chicken and veggie kabobs. Very quick and easy for me to make.
