Shepherd's Pie Complete

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2008
This was a good start, but I used turkey burger and turkey gravy and I made my own mashed potatoes with bacon, cheese and chives.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2008
This was very good and so easy to make! I used reduced fat cream of chix and reduced fat cream of celery soups and only 1 can of the reduced fat biscuits. I also added some parsley and oregano.

Bake Sale Lemon Bars

I have made these several times and they are always very popular. I kept the same pan, but doubled the recipe and added yellow food coloring.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2008
I'm surprised that I am able to drag myself away from the cookie jar long enough to type this review ... I think I still have cookie crumbs stuck to my fingers! Needless to say, these are absolutely delicious! I love them and can't get enough! I brought half the batch to the neighbors' house and they are already gone! They are soft, chewy, vanilla-y, and there are a ton of chocolate chips! My new favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe. Must. get. back. to. the. cookies. now.

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2008
MMMMMMM! Love this chicken! The oil and sugar are unnecessary (and this cuts back on fat and calories!). I have also used dried rosemary because I don't always have fresh in the house. I make this a couple times per month. It doubles easily and is always a crowd pleaser. Adults and kids gobble it up!

Yummy! I used Purdue Perfect Portions chicken breasts, cooked uncovered for 35 minutes at 325, and it was perfect!

This was delicious! It was the perfect main dish for my clam bake. I added clams, mussels, crab legs and baby lobster tails.

Cabbage Fat-Burning Soup

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2008
This is a great low calorie soup! I always halve it, since I'm the only one who eats it, and it still makes a ton. However, I do use the full onion soup mix packet and the full can of beef broth so that I don't miss out on any flavor, and I add white pepper for a little spice. Also, for meals that need some protein (i.e. after a workout), I add sliced turkey kielbasa to the soup while I'm heating it up. It makes a wonderful addition (and adds more flavor!) while still being calorie conscious.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2008
These turned out to be the best blueberry muffins I have ever made. I had some issues with the crumb topping, but I tried using a little less butter and added additional crumbs half way through baking and that worked out perfectly.

Spaghetti Pie III

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2008
This was an unexpected delicious surprise! I knew it wouldn't be bad with all the good reviews, but I never expected it to be as good as it was! I seasoned the meat up a bit with garlic, some sauteed onions, basil, etc. My husband and son devoured it! I'll definitely make this again. It's perfect for making ahead of time and heating up when I get home from work!

Chip Chicken Lollipops

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2008
I think this recipe is a really neat idea and it has a high "fun factor", but the taste was just ok. I used sour cream and Cheddar chips the first time. I will probably make again, but I will try to find a more flavorful chip or I'll season my own chips.

Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2008
This was very good and will be my staple ziti recipe from now on. I used turkey burger and my own sauce, and layered the ingredients according to other reviewers' suggestions. Ziti has a tendency of drying out and I think the sour cream helps to keep it moist. And you simply can't go wrong with provolone cheese, mmm!

Easy OREO Truffles

This is a wonderful recipe and it so easy to make. I only reserve about 5 crushed cookies for the toping and I use candy making chocolate wafers for dipping. People have said these are both heavenly and sinful!

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2008
This is a very good recipe, but after using other reviewers' advice my dad said it was his number 1, favorite thing I have ever made him! I used beef stock instead of water, added a pack of onion soup mix, pepper and garlic powder. Kept the cream cheese as is, but also served it with sour cream! Amazing!
