Four Cheese Margherita Pizza

Reviewed: May 29, 2007
I made this in a pinch for my husband and father-in-law. We all LOVED it. My husband was actually upset when I sent some leftovers to my mom. One thing I like to do with the second crust is to use the included sauce packet, then top with the cheeses; chop the tomato mixture and finely shred the basil. Then you have two slighty different and delicious pizzas. Definitely keeping this recipe on hand...

I accidentally threw all the ingredients into the mixture instead of reserving the brush on ingred's...Still delicious. UPDATE: 6/17/07 I made it right this time and now they're amazing. I would proudly serve these to friends and family.

Mouth-Watering Stuffed Mushrooms

They tasted like they were really missing something, but the leftover mixture was great in my mashed potatoes! Don't know if I'd make the mushrooms again though.

Best Peanut Butter Cookies Ever

When I make the fork-indentations, they tend to crumble (A LOT) on the edges, so they're not gift-worthy appearance-wise, but the flavor is pretty darn good.

This really is delicious. I was afraid after I started making it that the flavor might be a little dull, but not at all. For the onion, jalapenos, and cilantro -- I tossed them together in the food processor and made a really nice looking topping. I also added some sour cream and black bean/corn salsa. DELICIOUS!!!

Grandma Ople's Apple Pie

Reviewed: May 15, 2007
This apple pie is AMAZING! With the first bite, my husband and I smiled and said, "This one is a real winner!" I doubt if I will ever make an ordinary apple pie again. And the only change I made was using 6 granny smiths instead of 8.

Tater Tot Casserole III

Delicious and easy. My husband loves this one. He says it has everything a man needs -- meat, potatoes, and cheese (I like to sprinkle some shredded cheddar or jack cheese on top). One note- When I first put it together, I thought there was way too much liquid, but during cooking it all came together.

ATTN "Amber". What were your "minor adjustments"? Mine were: added 1 small can of sliced mushrooms, 8 oz of beef stock, 1/2 can of beer, small can of corn, simmered longer than suggested 90 minutes. Served over baked potatoe.

ATTN RWLEVINSON. You can try thickening your sauce using a little "Wondra" flour. It's a fine flour that doesn't clump up like regular flour. Add a little at a time until the desired consistancy.

I've made this before and I love it. Here's a GREAT idea for the next day left-overs. Pull the pork apart with your fingers and warm in a pan with your favorite BBQ sauce. Voila! Pulled pork BBQ sandwiches.

I made this for a school potluck and everyone loved them. But I've noticed that if you buy Nilla Wafers they are too big to use whole as cheescake bottoms, so come prepared with a ziplock baggie and frying pan for crushing.
