Surprisingly good! I don't have cornmeal on hand, so I use some Bisquick baking mix instead and it comes out terrific. Eat it while it's hot!

Creme de Menthe Grasshopper Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2009
I also used a prepared cookie crust, used almost a full 16 oz. container of Fluff, and 1/2 cup of creme de menthe. The filling tastes delicious and I would suggest buying some mini chocolate crusts for any extra filling you might end up with -- why waste?

Chicken Scampi II

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2008
This recipe is a staple in my house, it's quick and easy and everyone loves it. I made a few modifications to suite our families taste buds. First I add more garlic usually I double what is suggested. I also simmer the chicken scampi on very low for a little longer to infuse the different flavors into the chicken.

Cabbage Soup II

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2008
My husband LOVES ham and cabbage (even though I generally despise them), so when he came home with a 6 lb ham and giant ball of cabbage, I figured this soup would be our best bet. We BOTH loved it. Thanks for the great recipe! Only change - used 5 cups of ham and just 5 cans of broth because it was all I could fit in that pot with everything else. I think I'll stick with those changes from now on too.

Finally a beef stew recipe that my husband and I enjoy - thoroughly. Only change: I used the Miller High Life he had at home instead of buying the Irish stout. Yummmmm!

AMAZING! I got rave reviews from everyone who tried this! It does make a lot though. I filled 5 large mason jars with this (we ate one, gave 3 away, and froze the last). Making this again and again and again!

Creamiest Rice Pudding

Tastes just like my favorite (Kozy Shack). It may have been a little bit more liquid-y than it though, so maybe I'mm use 1 less cup of milk or sub the last 2 cups for a pint of heavy cream...

Allie's Mushroom Pizza

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2007
It gets 5 stars, but I added two things otherwise it's probably be a 4-star. I made some fresh tomato from the garden earlier this week, so I spread some of that on before the mushrooms and cheese. Also, just mozzarella would be awfully dull alone on a pizza, so I would HIGHLY recommend adding some more of another type like gruyere or fontina. I used what I had in the fridge, which was some Cabot Tomato & Basil cheese. It rocked!
