We really like this one. Changed nothing this time, but I think it would be just as yummy not baked.

Nutty Pumpkin Waffles

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2008
Yum! I followed the recipe except I did not seperate the eggs. I dont know if it makes a difference or not but the family liked it. We also omitted the nuts. We didnt make the sauce either but did serve them with maple syrup and whipped cream. Another great breakfast recipe!

Zesty Porcupine Meatballs

Good new meal to add to our rotation. We added extra worcestershire sauce to make the sauce tangy and served over mashed potatoes. Will make again.

Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2008
LOVE IT!! My 8 year old son even took it for his lunch at school the next day. The only changes I did were to use cream of mushroom instead of cream of chicken, simply because that is what I had, & I got 10 patties instead of 8. For sure will do this one again.

Sweet and Sour Tofu Veggies

I liked this, but my non-vegetarian husband did not. My vegetarian kids thought it was ok, but they refused to eat the pineapple.

Flourless Chocolate Cake I

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2008
Fabulous dessert! Very rich and special, only a small slice will do for a satisfying treat. Whipped cream was my topping of choice. I would suggest to half the salt if you use salted butter. Berries would be lovely but not necessary. I did not cool overnight, I made it in the morning and put in the fridge asap and served for dinner. It was unbelievable! Do take it out of the oven at the suggested time, and ignore if it doesn't look done. Mine looked wet over the whole top, but it was done when it was cooled. My family raved over it, and agreed that it would be a treat whether gluten free diet or not! Thanks for the awesome recipe!

Apple Kielbasa Coins

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2008
My family really liked this recipe. We used turkey kielbasa, and I used grape jelly because we didn't have apple. Next time I make it, I'll double the recipe, and I think I'll back off on the syrup. It's a pretty sweet, thick sauce. I think you could easily use a sugar-free jelly and maybe thin it out with some juice if you want more of a sauce to pour over the meat.

Gluten-Free Irish Soda Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2008
This is very, very good. It's a little sweet, but that's okay with us. The bake time is way off, though. I have a convection oven which reduces the baking time, but it still took only 25 minutes. Thanks for a great recipe.

Easy Rice Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2008
For gluten-free bread, this is 5 stars all the way...with some changes. The mix was too dry for me too, I added at least an extra cup of water. I left out the milk powder as we can't have it, worked fine. I baked it 325 degrees in my convection oven for 45 minutes and it was perfect. Even after cooling it's great, with a texture very similar to heavier whole wheat bread, which I love. I am thrilled to have this recipe. Thanks!!!
