About me:
I'm a yoga instructor (and by instructor I mean student who happens to walk around and talk a lot during class) and mom of 2 little ones. I love experimenting with both old and new recipes. I have to tinker with the ingredients, amounts or modify based on what I have. I look at recipes as more of a vague outline and less like a list of instructions. Of course, cooking this way increases the potential for failure(and I've had plenty), but it also increases the excitement and fun in the kitchen.

Bourbon Chicken

This had WAY too much bourbon! It was way too bourbon flavored and the chicken was really dry. It didn't taste anything like the chicken you get at "the mall" and I will for sure not make this recipe again.

Corn and Crab Bisque

Made this dinner tonight and it was fan-damn-tastic! Never made any sort of crab meal before as my wife hates seafood (it's a texture thing), but she loved this soup. The only thing I did different from the posted recipe was to add three strips of sliced, cooked bacon, because, well, bacon makes everything better.

Bloody Mary Chicken

The skin of the chicken had an ok flavor, the rest of the chicken was like the kind of chicken in chicken noodle soup. Fell apart (in a bad way) and was just flavorless.
