About me:
I'm a yoga instructor (and by instructor I mean student who happens to walk around and talk a lot during class) and mom of 2 little ones. I love experimenting with both old and new recipes. I have to tinker with the ingredients, amounts or modify based on what I have. I look at recipes as more of a vague outline and less like a list of instructions. Of course, cooking this way increases the potential for failure(and I've had plenty), but it also increases the excitement and fun in the kitchen.

Spinach Lentil Soup

Excellent soup!! Threw the rice in with the lentils and only used half the spinach because that is all I had left. Added a pinch of cumin as that is a preference for us. Husband ate two big bowls and said he had a new favorite soup! Will make again. Love recipes with lentils. THANKS for submitting!

Bubble Pizza

The recipe definitely has alot of potential and was a great idea but there are a few errors in this recipe. First the biscuits didnt cook all the way through. so I cooked it longer and burned the other ingrediants. I would revise this recipe so that you start cooking the cut up buscuits in the oven 5-10minutes before adding the meat mixture and everything else and cook it for the given length of time. When everything is done add the cheeses. and cook a few minutes. It will taste better if the buscuits are cooked.

Bourbon Chicken

This had WAY too much bourbon! It was way too bourbon flavored and the chicken was really dry. It didn't taste anything like the chicken you get at "the mall" and I will for sure not make this recipe again.
