Easy Turkey Tetrazzini

Very good. I added veggies (cooked with the noodles) and garlic powder and italian seasoning. Next time I'll just mix it all together instead of layering the sauce on top of the noodle because I had to mix it after to get any sauce on the noodles. I also had some milk to the sauce before it cooked.

i added a can of mixed veggies and used crushed plain potato chips instead of french fried onions. Along with some seasonings (salt, pepper, garlic powder) it was very good.

Tomato Salsa

The only thing I did different was reduce the celery by half. I measured the tomatoes AFTER peeling and seeding. (Well I measured 1 lb and then guessed what 5 lbs would be) Made 12 pints.

Sweet Grilled Corn

I used olive oil. I didn't have rosemary and just estimated quantities but this was fabulous. The sauce was great on potatoes also. I microwaves potatoes for 4 minutes then cut up, covered with sauce and put in foil on the grill. Perfect!!

Groovy Green Smoothie

GREAT recipe! This was very tasty and my 2-year-old loves to drink one for breakfast. I took the advice of another reviewer and used 100% apple juice instead of an apple. This makes the smoothie a lot smoother and easy for a little one to drink out of a straw.

Sticky Monkey Brains

I cut the biscuits with kitchen shears and omitted the pecans because of nut allergies. I used only one can and cut in half the rest. Shake small pieces in bag. Very good.

Chewy Granola Bars

I used rice krispies for some of the oatmeal. Didn't need as much choco. chips. Press them down before and after baking. They didn't crumble and were very chewy. Everyone liked!!

Quick and Easy Grilled Potatoes

These are the best!! Okay, so my kids don't like the skins but I love them so much that I make them anyway and peel the skins off after for the kids. I'm gonna try taking them camping, I'm thinking cooking in the microwave beforehand??? THESE ARE GREAT!!!

Hamburgers by Eddie

These hamburgers are great!! I was searching for a good burger recipe because my kids will eat fast food burgers but not ones I'd cook at home! (very frustrating!) They both will eat these burgers, the only thing I do differently is garlic powder instead of minced.

Peanut Butter Bars I

Delicious bars, although they didn't have a lot of peanut butter taste. I only used one cup of sugar and then next time I make them I think I'll skip the sugar completely and add more peanut butter. I also used a 9X9 pan so that my bars were thicker.

Washington Apple Cake

This cake used to be on the menu at a restaurant I worked at. I reduced the sugar and oil with no ill effects in the cake. It was excellent. I will have to compare it with the original recipe when I unpack, I think it had more cinnamon. The crust softens after a day or two in the fridge. I prefer it after the crust has softened and the flavors meld.
