Molasses Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2009
I have this same recipe only halved in portions, but I don't add cloves or ginger. They are delicious and the best molasses cookie I've ever eaten! They are very good frozen with a cup of hot coffee!

Out of this World Turkey Brine

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2009
Fabulous recipe! I never put a turkey in a brine solution before, but now it will be the only way I prepare my turkey. I let mine set in the brine for 12 hours and it was perfect!

This was a little salty. I used cubed eye of round and pie crust, I followed directions exactly other than that. I will make this again making my own gravy. It was good.

I liked it. The herb combination was excellent, and may use it on fish or chicken. I cooked in a crockpot and placed the herbs right on it. Wow, the gravy was excellent!

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2009
Not a fan of the sweetness of this recipe and I attribute that to the large amount of vanilla extract as my old faithful Hershey's recipe, of almost 25 years, uses 3/4 cups of brown and white sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla and they are never too sweet. I do like the texture and the way these cookies hold-up. I did not melt the butter, but softened it instead as melting the butter makes my cookies spread too much for my taste and I added 1 teaspoon of baking soda instead of the 1/2 tsp. called for in the recipe. I made these with a medium Pampered Chef scoop instead of the large called for in the recipe. I may make these again with less vanilla. I still think the Hershey's recipe, on the bag, is the best chocolate chip cookie recipe though.

Golden Pork Chops

I used one cream of celery and one can of cream of chicken soup instead of mushroom as a family member does not care for them. This dish had a fantastic taste! I served four chops with eggs noodles...poured some of the soup on top..delicious!

Baby Back Ribs

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2009
Ok, I just made these for the very first time! I did remove the back membrane off like other reviews suggested, however, I did also use a rub that I had made and used the sweet baby rays bbq sauce as well. My Husband loves them, in fact I have made them twice this week! 300 degrees and for 2 hrs. and 40 min. I also wanted to share the most important part that is not part of this recipe....That is to Broil the ribs without the foil, on a cookie sheet after they have been baked. Broil for exactly 9 min. My husband has been bragging about them all week long! I am very picky about ribs...I think that is why I never made them (the fear of not liking them and wasting them.) I think that this is one of my top 10 favorite meals to make! Easy clean~up and not much work to them! Thank you for the recipe, but more importantly all of the reviewers that made such wonderful suggestions that takes this original recipe to a whole other level. I will make this often! Thank you!

Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2009
I made this meal last night for my husband & I. We really loved it!!! I didn't have hot sauce on hand, so I used about 2 teaspoons of crushed red pepper. Well we were definately working up a sweat. Next time I'll only use about 1/2 tsp. of C.R.P.! Other than that...YUM YUM! I also floured my strips which was the only way to go (for us anyways)! Thank you for the wonderful recipe! I will make this again and again!

I can't tell you what pleasant memories this cheesecake brought back to me. This is exactly how my mom made it, 30 some years ago. During a move, the recipe was lost and we haven't had it since. Thank you so very, very much for submitting this so that my family can enjoy it from now on. Best cheesecake ever!

Another family fav! I use two creamed corn cans instead of one regular and one creamed can of corn. I think it makes it more creamy in texture.

Great recipe! Just be sure to not over beat the batter as that can cause cracks on top. I made three of these for a mother/daughter banquet and they all came out perfectly!
