This is a good recipe, almost idetical to mine. I do change mine often as my tastefor it might be different from one day to the next. The only thing I do different is I use skeewers to hang mine. Can usually get 8 or 9 slices on each skeewer. You just don't want them touching.

Good recipe, but you need to add margarine or butter to help make the choc. the right texture. I don't know how you would get it to cover the rice cereal without it. Anyway, this was so good! Very addictive!

Artichoke Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2006
This recipe definitely fell short of my expectations. I think I would have called it mayonnaise chicken because it definitely drowned out the flavors of the parmesan and artichokes. The chicken WAS really moist and had a great flavor, but I think if I made this again I'd try it with some cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup instead of the mayo.

Cranberry Sauce Extraordinaire

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2006
This was fantastic! I took advice from other people to make a few changes. I added a can of mandarin oranges, a pinch of allspice and ginger, and ran it through a food processor when it was finished cooking. Rave reviews from entire family! (Including people who don't normally eat cranberries.) Loved it, loved it, loved it.

Dip For The Stars

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2006
This is a WONDERFUL dip that everyone seems to love. I always put the sun-dried tomatoes in the food processor so that the pieces are smaller. I serve it with the flavored bruschetta pieces you can get at the grocery store - our favorite is garlic parmesan. It's a great treat, but the ingredients are expensive, so save it for those special occasions!

Absolutely great! I decrease the beans to 3 cans and add 2 cans white kernal corn. I also shred the chicken- more time, but worth it! My fiance loves this. It is five stars each time I make it.

Stove Top Tamale Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2006
My family really likes this. I usually use a combination of beef and sausage, sometimes only 1/2 lb.total. Instead of the tomato sauce, I use a 15-oz can of tomatoes. I add a little extra onion and garlic (the taco mix contains some); I add some ground pepper to taste.I also add some canned or bottled jalepeno slices-cut up. I've never had the gr. onion on hand-and it still turns out great! I have been out of kidney beans and used pork 'n beans before-still great.

Sharese's Spaghetti Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2006
My son and I loved this recipe! I didn't use the bacon-I was just too lazy to get it out and fix it. I used 6 ounces of black olives-my son wants more the next time. I only had two small home grown tomatoes on hand-the next time I will use more; my sister told me she subs canned sometimes. For the salad seasoning mix I used an italian blend-I bought by mistake and it still turned out good. This was sooo good! I will use the bacon next time. This is better than the store bought kind. Enjoy!!

These were pretty good...but when I mixed the oil with the cheese and spices it just clumped up. I started over and put the potatoes in a bowl with the oil and then added the spices so they would spread more evenly.

Homemade Black Bean Veggie Burgers

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2006
Very tasty! I tried using 1/3 cup egg substitute instead of an egg and had to add about twice as many bread crumbs as the recipe called for. They were still kind of pasty though. I did add a teaspoon of paprika and put salt and pepper on both sides of the patties because I was afraid they may be a little bland. Overall, they came out really well. I'll definitely be making these again. They're sooo much better than the store-bought kind!
