The best pie crust I have tried to date. Perfect for several of the pies I tried. Thanks for the post.

Broccoli and Sausage Cavatelli

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2008
I've made this many times. I've tried other variations too. Asparagus instead of broccoli and shrimp instead of sausage. Most of the time I make it just like the recipe, except I use a shredded 6 italian cheese mix from my grocery store (parmesan, mozzarella, romano, asiago, fontina, provolone) and I use quite a bit more than 1/4 cup.

This are really good. They do taste like the sliders....I did follow a reviewers suggestion to use dry onion soup mix instead and it worked great. They didn't look like the picture, but I think with some practice I could get the hang of it....hubby loved them. Thanks for the post.

Quick Chicken And Wine

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2008
This was good. I didn't like how you get the chicken nice and crusty to let it soak in liquid for a bit, so next time I will remove it and just pour sauce over chicken. Other than that...definately a good dish. Thanks for the post.

Thai Peanut Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2008
Sorry. Very few recipes get a low rating for me, but we couldn't even eat this. It tasted too much like just peanut butter (hubby's complaint) and was too salty as well. I followed the recipe exactly and it just wasn't for us. Thanks anyway for the post.

I definately used the shallots instead of onions the second time (first time was too dominant of a flavor). It was really good. Added just a splash of white wine before serving. Thanks for the post.

Mexican Egg Rolls

I tried this as written the first time. The second I made some changes that we thought made this even better. I added some corn and black beans to the meat mixture. Didn't fry with the lettuce inside, instead topped with the lettuce. We liked the way it worked just a little better. Thanks for the post.

Definately much easier than standing over the stove. Hubby likes his a little undercooked and I like mine a little more done. A great way to make this without having to watch and see where the kid is. Thanks for the post.

I make these all the time. Instead of rolling in powdered sugar, I make a glaze with the sugar and water. Sometimes we make a cinnamon sugar mixture and we roll them in there. Great for a snack or quick dessert.

Cheesy Wild Rice

This is amazing...and so easy. I had some leftover box chicken rice from the weekend and wanted something to make it great. Had everything on hand already. Made 2 changes...did half milk and half and half (to make it really creamy) and added some green onions as a topping. We ate this up. Definate keeper for us. Thanks for the post.

Daddy's Popcorn

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2008
Believe it or not there is a trick to this for those who are afraid of burning the popcorn. Only add 3 kernels to the oil first and when all 3 pop then add the rest of the unpopped kernels. Make sure you shake well so that it is in motion. We also like to add the butter oil that you can get at the grocery store. Delicious and the paper bag gets rid of the extra oil that usually deposits at the bottom of the bowl. I REFUSE to eat microwave popcorn again. Delicious. Thanks for the post.

This is delicious. I accidently ran out of soy sauce so had to substitute 1 tb of teryiaki sauce. Other than that the only other difficulty I had was that the marinade kinda burned a little bit...but it was good. Thanks for the post.

Hazelnut Chicken in Prosciutto-Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2008
This was really good. I do agree with some of the other reviewers. 1. You need to finely chop the hazelnuts (they are too big if you just use them right out of the bag). 2. Add more spinach. 3. Brown the chicken then bake in order to fully cook (mine were done on the outside but still really pink inside). The sauce is wonderful and it was a definate keeper in our house. Thanks for the post.
