About me:
I have so much fun cooking! I'm an internal medicine physician during the day, so I look forward to coming home to a nice glass of wine and making something quick, but semi-elegant and nutritious for dinner.

Lemon Rosemary Salmon

Reviewed on Jul. 9, 2009 by branchan
Probably one of the best recipes on this site! The only thing I ever change is cooking time to accommodate the thickness of my fillets (10 minutes per inch), but other than that everything about this dish is perfect!

Balsamic-Glazed Salmon Fillets

Reviewed on Jul. 2, 2009 by Lil' Chef
We decided to grill this, and just continuously baste the salmon while grilling. It could have been marinated for a bit, but it was just fine without it. The taste of the salmon still came through and was not overpowered by the glaze. Very good!!!

Wedge Salad with Elegant Blue Cheese Dressing

Reviewed on Jun. 30, 2009 by Debbie T.
I really love this recipe, but I cut the blue cheese down to two 5 oz. packages, one for the dressing, and one to sprinkle on top. None of my four children liked it, but they are picky eaters and I think blue cheese is an acquired taste. As for myself and my husband, we really enjoyed it, and it would be easy to make the dressing up ahead of time and prepare the toppings to throw together at the last minute. I will definitely be serving this again, but probably to a dinner party the next time, where they will appreciate it more than my kids!
