Seven-Layer Gelatin Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2008
this was beautiful! It was very time consuming though. Everyone thought it looked so pretty. I used purple, blue, green, and red jello. The taste is pretty good but not excellent. Deffinately a sight to see though!

Chewy Granola Bars

These are excellent! I took the advice of others and doubled the honey. My kids eat these up as soon as I am done getting them out of the pan. My husband loves them too. I think this is great. I have made them 3 times varying the add in ingredients. (Dried cranberries, apples, raisins, choc chips, or pecans, etc...)

Peanut Butter Sandwich Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2008
This was excellent. This was very sweet. The only thing I dd that may be helpful to others is unstead of spreading the icing on the cookies I put the icing in a large ziploc bag and cut the tip off and just squeezed it on the cookie (less mess). These were wonderful

My kids love this. It is so simple and I can send a little baggie in their lunch box to school or we can take it on a picnic at the park. I personally think it is very sweet but they love it! We happen to have the ingredients in the house.

great recipe. I added 2 tbls of cinnamon for a little zip. I also added 1/4 cup more of flour and used 5 bananas instead of 3

i followed the recipe exactly. the mix came out really ggoey and was unable to roll the balls but i recommend let the mixture sit and it starts to harden after 5 or ten minuets once i did this the recipe and the cookies came out so delicious the melt in your mouth. 4 stars.

This was a wonderful recipe and one that i will make over and over again. I love zuchini bread. The only thing different i did was add about double the cinnamon cause i am partial to it. But even then it really doesnt need to be touched. 5 stars all the way.

I have always treasured this version of Pumpkin pie. To aid in the doneness of crust...use a glass pie pan. I never have leftovers!

Cranberry Apple Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2005
Make this only to make your kitchen smell good, but don't feed it to anyone. It was so terribly bland and the fruit didn't mesh and taste the way I thought they would. This needed a lot more sugar than the recipe calls for. Also, the inside of the bread fell away from the crust when I checked for doneness. All in all, just awful and a waste of fresh cranberries. I will never make this again.

Diane's German Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2005
This is a fantastic and easy recipe. I made it for my husband's birthday and everyone loved it. I was a bit discoraged with the drippy consistency of the icing once it was thickened because I wanted to ice the sides, but I found spooning icing on the top along the edge made a beautiful drizzle effect along the sides. I will probably make this again!

Broccoli Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2005
Ready in almost no time at all, but I'd use less garlic powder than the recipe suggests! This was way too much garlic. I also added some celery salt and that gave it a fuller flavor. All in all not a bad recipe. I just tweaked it a bit for my guest's and my taste.
