Brown Sugar Chocolate Crackle Cookies

Reviewed: May 12, 2009
I made these for a neighbor who lost his father (plus more for my sister and mom, and my house) and they all got rave reviews. I did use pecans since I didn't have walnuts and added white chocolate chips. They were great and will be made again!

Basmati Rice

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2009
Delicious! I tried it with Jasmine rice, since I already had it, and added a couple pinches each of salt, garlic, and ground cloves. I also used ground cumin since I didn't have whole seeds. Went great with my chicken korma!

Frosted Grapes

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2009
These were fun and easy to make. A huge hit with the family and friends. One suggestion, don't use off brand jello, because I did once when making these and the gelatin didn't set up as it should have and was still gooey on the grapes.

Birthday Bones

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2008
I made these today for my 70lb lab mix. She loves them! I ran out of her normal treats and couldn't get to the pet store to buy her more, well I don't think I'll ever buy her treats now that I know how easy they are to make, and with stuff I always have on hand! Thanks for the wonderful recipe (and thanks from Nellie), I will make these many more times!

Pumpkin Pancakes

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2008
We made these tonight and the were wonderful. I love pumpkin and these were so good. I upped the cinamon and added nutmeg. I also added some chopped pecans to mine. The syrup was good but got very stringy and thick, I am not sure what happened but it was still very good!

Caramel Apple Pork Chops

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2008
I followed reviewers advice and decided to make the carmel sauce on the stove and bake the pork chops. I put the apples over pork chops I had marinated the night before in apple cider, cinamon and nutmeg. I then poured the carmel over the apples and baked 35 mins. I paired it with some stuffing and rolls. This was one of the best meals I have made. I will make it again and again, I am sure it will soon be a fall favorite.

Honey Whole Wheat Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2008
This is really good wheat bread! I took other reviewers reviews in mind when I made it and I made it with: 2 cups wheat flour, 1 cup bread flour, 2 tbl butter, 1 1/2 tsp yeast, 1 1/8 warm water and "eyeballed" 1/4 cup honey (it was probably more on the heavier side). I will make this again and again! It was so easy and so tasty!

this was beautiful! It was very time consuming though. Everyone thought it looked so pretty. I used purple, blue, green, and red jello. The taste is pretty good but not excellent. Deffinately a sight to see though!

Chewy Granola Bars

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2008
These are excellent! I took the advice of others and doubled the honey. My kids eat these up as soon as I am done getting them out of the pan. My husband loves them too. I think this is great. I have made them 3 times varying the add in ingredients. (Dried cranberries, apples, raisins, choc chips, or pecans, etc...)

Peanut Butter Sandwich Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2008
This was excellent. This was very sweet. The only thing I dd that may be helpful to others is unstead of spreading the icing on the cookies I put the icing in a large ziploc bag and cut the tip off and just squeezed it on the cookie (less mess). These were wonderful
