These were a pretty big hit. I made them "mini" style for more snackability.

Perfect Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2009
I made two of these pies, one for each of our Thanksgiving dinners, and both my husband's and my family loved it! I love that it combines two ingredients (sugar & milk) so it's a little quicker to prepare. This really is a perfect, traditional pumpkin pie.

Didn't not like. Dough was way too stiff and cookie doesn't have a good flavor!

World's Best Pasta Sauce!

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2009
This was pretty good. Made for a dinner party and everyone seemed to enjoy it. The best part is how it held together when serving it! I hate when it does not look good on the plate.

Turkey Wild Rice Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2009
This was a great recipe. I made it because I was trying to get rid of left over Thanksgiving turkey. I followed the recipe exactly except that I forgot to put the sherry in. Perfect consistancy and great flavor!

Bacon Wrapped Smokies

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2009
I love these for breakfast! I also wrap bacon around chunks of pineapples. Add in alternating rows. I used a baking dish instead of a baking sheet, because I have a lot of grease from the bacon.

Pumpkin Fluff Dip

Wowza! This stuff is awesome! It tastes like I am eating pumpkin pie. I used fat free cool whip and fat free vanilla instant pudding mix. It turned out fantastic! I served it with apples b/c one person had a wheat allergy in the party, but next time i'm serving it will cinnamon gramm crackers. This dish is a keeper!!!

Foolproof Rib Roast

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2009
Unbelievable roast! Very tender and came out mid-rare. I would make sure to roast it the full three hours in the oven to do medium. The BEST prime rib I've ever eaten! We're doing this for Christmas instead of turkey. Oh, and make sure to rub in a large amount of either coarse kosher salt, or sea salt...what flavour!

Pillow-Soft Dinner Rolls

These rolls were lovely the first day. The next...very dry. I ended up turning them into breadcrumbs. I think the recipe needs more shortening - 8 T. perhaps.

Chocolate Cupcakes with Caramel Frosting

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2009
I doubled the recipe for a my daughter's class on her birthday. It made around 35 VERY full cupcakes. It could have easily made three dozen, so don't fill them too full. Also, it said just to mix until blended, I recommend mixing it well. The grape jelly was still a little chunky. Other than that, GREAT cupcake and exceptionally moist!

End of the Line Ham Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2009
I REALLY liked this! I did not "tweak" it too awful much-but I did toss in the green beans that were leftover from Thanksgiving, too! I put 'em in after the potato layer. They were just simple green beans, cooked with bacon pieces&onion...used cream of mushroom soup, too. It was even better the next day! Thanks, it was great!

Tasty, but a little salty for me. I halved the recipe, and if I make it again, I'll just use a pinch of salt, or maybe leave it out entirely.

Pumpkin Smoothie

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2009
I was short on milk so I used carrot juice to make up the difference. I also added about a half teaspoon of vanilla. I used honey instead of the brown sugar. Otherwise, I followed the recipe as written. The smoothies seemed more like milkshakes than smoothies, but they were delicious and I will definitely be making these again.
