Pretty Chicken Marinade

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2008
Followed the recipe exactly! We really enjoyed this! The sweetness of the lemon juice really compliments the soy sauce and makes for great grilled flavor and also makes the chicken a wonderful color! Would make a great main dish to serve guests and WOW them!

Lazy Lasagna II

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2008
I followed this recipe pretty closely. I did 1 lb. ground beef and 1/2 lb. Italian sausage and I also added Italian seasoning to my meat mixture for flavor. Followed other reviews and used about a jar and a half of sauce with another 1/4 cup water to rinse the jar and to avoid the "dryness" others experienced. I liked the how easy it was to layer and not have to boil the ravioli! Yum! I divided this between 2 smaller quart casserole dishes, one for now, one for later!

Strawberry Romaine Salad I

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2008
I enjoyed this very much. I've made it with craisins when strawberries are out of season. Almonds or pecans are good too. The dressing is great on other salads too.

Garlic Lover's Chicken

Reviewed: May 31, 2008
Very good flavor...moist and delicious. Husband and two picky kids liked. The only thing I would have done differently is pounded the chicken breasts thinner (or had the butcher tenderize them at the shop). I like a crunchy chicken breading, and the coating was soggy. Sucessful taste, now just need to perfect the texture.

Ignacio's Super Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich

Reviewed: May 18, 2008
Ok, this is crazy good. I had no idea, but adding in the crunch makes the sandwich taste like a PB&J candy bar. Kids think I invented something magical here.....I'm their hero! Thank you!

Garlic Bread Fantastique

Reviewed: May 18, 2008
Guess I am in the minority here, but wasn't a big fan of this. Maybe added a little too much parmesean cheese, but 5 minutes under the broiler was too long, started burning at 3 1/2. Scraped off the burnt parts, and it tasted OK. Probably won't make it again, but thanks anyway!

Yum, Yum, Super Yum! These were amazing. Make exactly according to recipe, and baked for 8 minutes, let rest to flatten slightly. Moist, chewy, and delish! Thank you!

Chicken Fried Chicken

Reviewed: May 2, 2008
Hubbie said this was hands down the best fried chicken I had ever made. Chicken was beautifully crisp on the outside, moist and juicy on the inside. Didn't take long to fry either, and wasn't overly greasy. Yummy..will be a regular item on the menu in our household. Thank you!

Kickin' London Broil with Bleu Cheese Butter

Reviewed: May 2, 2008
Wow....this was really good. The nice thing about it is that the butter is made seperately, and put on at the end, so if the kids don't want the "cheese that smells like feet!" on theirs, you can leave it off! My hubbie and I LOOOVED it. Even the leftovers were delightful the next day. Will definitely make again!!!!!!!! Thank you!

Pork Chops and Scalloped Potatoes

Reviewed: May 2, 2008
The family loved this (even a couple of picky girls). I made a few modifications. All I had was boneless center cut pork chops, so I reduced the cooking time by 1/2 hour. I sliced the potatoes, and poured the sauce on (w/a little heavy cream added to the sauce for creaminess), and cooked the potatoes for 1/2 hour. Also I reserved some of the sauce. During that time I browned the chops. I placed them on the last 1/2 hour, and poured remaining sauce on top. Kids usually hate any potato that is not a "fry" but they ate these all up. Needs a little more seasoning....but overall a great meal

Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2008
Great taste, and extremely easy to make. The only reason it wasn't given 5 stars is that the coating stuck to the pan on the bottom, and was hard to remove. I'd recommend spraying the pan, and maybe even the chicken after breading. The chicken was moist and flavorful though. Will make again!
