Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2008
Very tasty! I used 4 bananas instead of 3 and they turned out great. The crumb topping is the only thing that didn't turn out for me. I forgot that I was out of paper muffin cups so I greased my muffin tins. Perhaps not using the papers affected the top? Not sure. The crumb topping kind of melted into the muffin. However, they still tasted wonderful.

Bratwurst Potato Skillet

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2008
Oh my goodness! I loved it. I have a two year old and five year old who are the pickiest eaters in the world, and they both had seconds! I wouldn't change the recipe, except I may add some fresh mushrooms next time! Kudos.

Pecan Tarts

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2007
Really good! I used store purchased pie crust and used mini-muffin tins. Be careful not to overfill- they expand as they cook. You can also had a handful of chocolate chips if you wish to the batter before you put into the muffin tins. Yummy....chocolate pecan pie :)

Thanksgiving Meatloaf

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2007
I thought this was OK. My husband (who is not picky at all) hated it and refused the left-overs. I have to admit I have never seen him do that before. I thought it was ok and I DID eat the leftovers. He things the combo of turkey/stuffing doesn't taste right in meatloaf.

Chocolate Covered Cherries

Try putting some white chocolate in a zploc baggie, cut the corner off and put some streakes across the chocolate covered cherries.

Fra Diavolo Sauce With Pasta

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2007
This was very tasty. I used whole wheat pasta for a little more nutrition. You can easily adjust the heat by increasing or decreasing the amount of red pepper flakes. My husband and I both enjoyed this recipe. Very simple and easy. We used shrimp only omitting the scallops (I don't care for them). I also used pre-cooked shrimp that I just thew into the sauce. Served with a crunchy salad. Simple and fast...perfect for a busy weeknight. Delish

Gypsy Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2007
Delish! I doubled the recipe (might as well double it because it's awesome). I used soy sauce in place of the Tamari. I also added about 1 cup of milk after adding the chicken broth because I wanted a creamier soup. I then pureed it(in batches)in my kitchen aid processer. I served this with a crusty roasted garlic loaf for dipping. It was wonderful and I will make this again and again. Thanks for a great recipe!

Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2007
I'm a believer. This is far and away the best cookie I have ever made. Each batch turned out perfectly. 10 minutes in the oven and 2 on the cookie sheet before removing to the wire racks. Awesome. This will be the cookie I make from now on to take to functions. Brought them to work today and people keep coming up and asking for the recipe! Wow. Perfect everytime! Crunchy outside and soft inside. Perfecto!

Easy French Dip Sandwiches

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2007
Delicious! We used a loaf of soft french bread that we sliced, buttered and toasted under the broiler before adding the meat and cheese. Delicious and SUPER FAST! Recipe takes about 10 minutes. You can't usually get something so tasty for under 30! Great Recipe!

Sloppy Joe Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2007
Surprisingly good! I was looking for a quick and easy sloppy joe recipe that didn't require a trip to the grocery store, since we didn't have any fresh veggies in the house. This throws together in a snap, smells great, and tastes even better. Brings back memories of my childhood! I did cut back a tiny bit on the ketchup, but it was still delicious. I highly, highly recommend this recipe, and that is something I don't do often!

Candy Bar Brownies

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2007
This was just OK to me. Too sweet and VERY VERY difficult to get out of the pan. As other reviews suggested, I used a full 14oz can of the sweetened condensed milk. I was hoping for some bars that I could cut and set on a platter. These were not it. They fall apart too easily and don't look "pretty". I took the pan to work and the brownies are all gone...however, I have yet to recieve a compliment. I won't be making these again. Sorry!:(

Buffalo Chicken Wings I

Reviewed: May 17, 2007
Very good recipe. I made these exactly as the recipe stated (except I doubled the sauce as there wasn't enough). They were very good except I found them too salty. Next time I make these I will not add any salt and I will use unsalted butter. My husband RAVED and RAVED about these and even sent me an email this AM about them...still raving. We are low-carb-ers and these have 0 carbs so I will be making these again and again. Excellent!!!!

Artichoke Cheese Dip

Reviewed: May 11, 2007
I like dill but this has too much in it. I also found it a bit too salty (which ruins a dish for me). I won't make this again. I made the dip and then baked it on top of chicken breasts. I still like my chicken breasts cooked this way but I I will use my regular spinach/artichoke dip next tip :)
