Butterfinger Chunkies

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2009
These were good but certainly not great in my opinion. I baked some for 12 minutes (crunchy) and some for 10 (soft). Where I usually prefer a crunchy cookie on this recipie I prefer the soft. For a delicious PB cookie I prefer Peanut butter sandwhich cookie recipe available on this site.

The filling was runny. I have to say I thought these were boring and 3 stars...at very best. Sorry!

Coconut Poke Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2009
Eww....Really? I did the recipe exactly as directed. I really wish I would have left out the sweetened condensed milk and only used Coconut Cream. WAY too sweet- and I LIKE SWEET! Almost inedible. I may try this again as I love easy recipes but will DEFINATELY leave out the sweetened condensed milk- it sure doesn't need it! ICK!

Savory Cheddar Zucchini Muffins

My family liked these but I wasn't a fan. I thought they were a bit bland. Perhaps adding some chopped jalepeno would jazz these up enough for me to enjoy.

No Bake Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2009
With my modifications I would give this 5 stars. Super fast and yummy. I used only 1 stick (1/2 C) of butter. I also added 1/3 C peanut butter- heated slightly to make a little runny. DELISH! They taste a little like a "puppy chow" (made from chex mix) cookie. These are wonderful!

Mom's Zucchini Bread

Perfect in every way. I leave out the nuts. I also use 1 C extra zucchini and it is to die for! I also split the sugar and use 1/2 brown and 1/2 white based on another review.

Good, but not fantastic. Didn't taste the zucchini so that was good and they were moist. If you have left over Zucchini to use this would be a good way.

Very good and so simple. I used 4 regular russet potatoes in place of the yukon golds and it was delish! My husband loved it and even mentioned to me again today how good it was last night.

Can't Leave Alone Bars

I think this is the worst recipe I have made from allrecipes.com. These were beyond bad. Even my husband (who eats anything) thought they were terrible. I followed directions perfectly. I was looking for a quick and easy dessert for a dinner with my in-laws. I was unable to serve these as they were so bad. Sorry!

Rich Chocolate Frosting

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2009
Wonderful! I used a whole bag of powered sugar (7.5 Cups, if you don't want to measure) Plus 1 additional and thought it was the right amount of sweet. So 8.5 cups total. It was very tasty. Made this in my Kitchen Aid Artisan Stand Mixer. Worked wonderfully. Tons of compliments. Best Ever. This is my HG for Chocolate Frosting.

BAKER'S Peanut Butter Oatmeal Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2009
So very simple and tasty. I had these ready for the oven in 5 minutes flat. I used 6 oz of semi-sweet chips instead of the chocolate chunks. My husband told me he would actually prefer the cookie with no chocolate at all- so next time I will try that. It's only been 20 minutes ago that I made them and 1/2 the recipe is gone! Tasty!
