I have not made these in years, all I can say is yummy. You can whip these cookies up in no time. I will continue to make these as we all loved them.

Best Toffee Ever - Super Easy

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2009
I was a little nervous making this as I had never made candy before, this was so easy. I made the recipe as written and the end results were wonderful. It turned out so well, I'm making another batch today to share at work. My boys and I thank you.

I added Kielbasa, I got the idea in another Allrecipes recipe, and it was GREAT. This is a very colorful meal that is easy to make and will get you kudos at your next dinner. Will make this many more times!

Sweet Potato Minestrone

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2009
I loved this! I'm not a huge fan of sweet potatoes (except in the form of PIE!), but they are so incredibly good for you, not to mention that they were only 16 cents a pound at Walmart before Thanksgiving. I've been trying out new ways to use them. This soup has been my favorite so far. The sweet potatoes absorb so much of the seasoning flavor, the actual sweet potato flavor was very subtle. I liked that. Like others, I added a can of beans (white beans) and about a cup of macaroni. Most of my family enjoyed it, too, but those who didn't are picky so they hardly count! Try this one. You won't be disappointed!

I changed a few things. Use chicken stock, added a can of chicken soup at the end, and only used 1 tsp of tarragon. Very good served over rice

Sloppy Joes II

Very good! Chopped up two cloves of garlic instead of using the garlic powder, a few dashes of worcestershire, and I didn't have any green pepper, so I omitted that. Really tasty. Served with potato wedges and a green salad. Thanks! :)

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cake Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2009
Other than the directions, I really liked this recipe. I just used the conventional method to mix these up, finding it unnecessary to cream the butter for 10 minutes followed by "massaging" the dry ingredients in a plastic food bag. I used regular ol' table salt, miniature chocolate chips, and substituted chocolate covered sunflower seeds for the walnuts. Chewy, gooey, brownie-like cookie that satisfies even the deepest chocolate craving.

Sunshine Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2009
Great base recipe for some sticky bbq chicken! I trimmed the fat from my chicken thighs and baked it for about 45 minutes. I added a few things because I was looking for a spicy teriyaki style sauce... red pepper flakes, minced garlic instead of powder, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, lime juice, and some chipotle hot sauce. I also replaced half of the corn syrup with honey. I hate reviewing recipes if I made so many changes to them, but I wanted to give credit where it is due!

Speedy Salmon Patties

Very tasty and quick to make, just like it says! I added a couple tablespoons of bread crumbs, but still had to be careful turning the patties because they fell apart easily. The boyfriend never had them before, but loved it! Thanks for the keeper!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Wonderful soup!!!! My mom made this for me while I was at work and it was a great dinner to come home to. She used chicken broth instead of the bouillon and water. Very hearty and flling. She said she doubled the recipe because it didn't seem like it would make enough for eveyrone as written.

Pumpkin Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2009
I love this chili, after I make the following changes (too bland & thick otherwise): Add - 1 can chicken broth, 1 can black beans, 1 can kidney beans, 1 can diced tomato (2 total), 2 tbls Cumin, 1/2 tsp cayenne, 1 can diced green chilies. All of it goes into the crock pot where the perfect chili is created!

I think these are ok. However, I went to my husbands corporate christmas party last night and everyone he introduced me to said, "ohhhhh! Youre the one who makes those "things" they are incredible!!" So, for having a stellar reputation before I even walk through the door this recipe gets 5 stars.

Egg Salad Sandwiches

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2009
Not my favorite egg salad recipe - and I typcially love egg salad. I made the recipe exactly as posted, except I reduced the mayo to approx. 1/2 cup + 2 T. based on previous reviews (you can always add more if needed, but can never take it out once made). I did not care for the dill or the garlic, as they overpowered every other flavor. And I am a dill lover, so I was very disappointed that I did not like the dill. I will try this again, omitting the dill, adding some sweet pickle relish, using either freshly minced onion or Onion Salt instead of Onion Powder, and probably omitting the garlic.
