Pineapple Cheesecake Squares

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2009
This was good..It was a change from the usual chocolate desserts I tend to make. I think next time more cool whip with the pineapple. But all in all it was very good.

I have made this several times and love it. I use canned broth instead of bouillon and usually ground chuck so they stay moist. Delicious!

Colleen's Slow Cooker Jambalaya

Reviewed: May 23, 2009
This was excellent..I followed the recipe except I used fresh shrimp the last 30 minutes. It had wondeful flavor and just the right amount of spiciness. Yes there was a lot of juice but I think that's unavoidable due to the chicken and sausage giving off their liquid. The leftover liquid would make a wonderful soup starter. I will be making this again for sure!

Delicious! Just finished eating this and had to write a review..I made this exactly as written..baked them on a rack as others suggested. They were moist and flavorful..next time just a touch more of each spice. I will be making these again soon!

Easy OREO Truffles

Reviewed: May 10, 2009
These were very good. I made some mint and some chcolate creme. I don't have a food processor so I needed to crush them in a bag. So that it wasn't so messy, I twisted the cookie off one side, and scraped the cream into the cream cheese. It came off in one piece and no mess in the bag when I crushed the cookies. For dipping I placed the truffle on the end of a fork like others and spooned the chocolate over it.

Oregano-Lemon Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2009
My family really enjoyed this recipe, I cooked the chicken on the grill. The flavor of honey and lemon juice together is great. I marnated the chicken in lemon juice and honey for 2-hours. I omitted the oregano after reading other reviews. Instead of oregano I sprinkled lemon pepper over the chicken it added an additional flavor.

Pasta with Peas and Sausage

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2009
We loved this!. I used mild italian sausages and added some red pepper flakes. I also used regular and fat free half and half instead of cream. After about 5 minutes I added 1T of parm to the sauce to help thicken it. It does take a little time to thicken but mine was perfect. Added more parm at the end. Delicious!

Taco Lasagna

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2009
I just made this last night and it was delicious. I had some chipotle cheddar in my fridge so I subbed half of that for half the regular cheddar and it gave it a little more of a kick.I also lightly mixed in the sour cream with the meat just to make it easier. I can't find any way to improve on this recipe, it was great. I will make this again for sure.

Original Homemade Italian Beef

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2009
This was very good. I was worried about the saltiness some other reviewers talked about but didn't find that to be the case. I only used 2 packets of seasoning but next time will do all 3. I used half a jar of the mild pepperoncinis along with half the juice and this gave just the right kick. The smell of this cooking drove me crazy all afternoon!. I will definitely make this again.

This is a great recipe! Very Yummy! I thought the pepper was too much so I used a little less. I also cooked it in the oven at 250F instead of the slow cooker.

Very Good. I served it with Penne and baked chicken breast. I used Italian Style cushed tomatoes as other reviewers stated thay added italian spices and I wanted to save time. I also added fresh minced garlic and a little grated parmesan cheese. I will be making this again maybe with italian sausage next time.

Manicotti Italian Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2008
Very Good. I did not put pepproni on it as we do not care for it. I put in sauted green pepper in and I shredded the mozereela from two blocks (not fresh) of it, it seems to taste better than what comes in a bag. I also used two jars of 26 ounce sauce and it was just right.
