French Toast Souffle

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2007
I made this last weekend to test it out for Christmas, and we loved it!! However the Souffle collapsed after taking it out of the oven (had to bake it for one hour) so we are goig to make a few changes to it, and try it again. Changes: * Cut Milk to 1 cup * Use 1 Cup of Half & Half * Add an additional pkg. of Cream Cheese (16 oz. total) * Use Cinnimon Swirl Loaf of Bread * Add some Brown Sugar on top (1/2 Cup probably) * 1 pkg. thawed frozen Strawberrys or Blueberrys as a garnish (not baked in the Souffle). Bill's Smoked BBQ Baby Back Ribs

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2007
Iif you enjoy smoking things you should try. The apple flavor in this is out of this world. I use the garlic and some wood chips for this and it is so good.

Rachel's Wasabi Cocktail Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2007
If you have a sweet tooth you could probably get by with this. If you don;t enjoy something that tastes like candy on your shrimp I would go on to another recipe or just open a bottle of cocktail sauce from the store. In order to salvage this as our party was getting close I doubled everything and left out the brown sugar. Then added a few drops of hot sauce at a time until it became palatable. If you do want to try this I would suggest using plain horse radish and add your brown sugar a little at a time and taste it as you go.

Bill's Beefuna Burgers

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2007
I tried his 'scrambled eggs done right' and was impressed enough to try this even as strange as it sounds. Actually is very good and quite suprising. Had a little trouble trying to get it to hold together the first time I tried it. After that I made in way ahead of time and let the flavors blend and it holds together better also. My Husband just thinks that these are the best and he normally doesen't want anything in his hamburger. I had to sneak it in the first time or I'm afraid he wouldn't try it.

Pumpkin Funnel Cakes

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2007
This is right up on the top of the list of things that come out so good for being so simple. I use canola oil as my husband has heart trouble and they turn out oh so good. As TNT states there is a “spicy” taste that just sets this off for me. Reminds me of a spice cake, only quite a bit different. I have also server these with syrup, applesauce and different flavored jams for the kids and they love it. Thank you so much Linda for this deliciously different ‘fried cake’.

Scrambled Eggs Done Right

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2007
This is quite the suprise to me. I never would have thought to try this with eggs. The only reason I bothered trying it was from the rave reviews. I see some negative reviews also, but I'm afraid you will always have some of those as everyones tastes are different. I agree with cycleking and I have also mixed other things into this too. I prefer the miracle whip over mayo. My favorite thing to mix is Jalapeno peppers, my husband just loves it that way. If you have reservations about trying this please forget them. You will just love this I am sure.

Banana Muffins with a Crunch

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2007
These muffins disappeared! I had a play date for my 3 year old and they vanished! I used all whole wheat flour and topped with a little toasted coconut I had left over from another recipe. Will definetly be making these again!

Pasta with Tomatoes and White Beans

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2007
YUMMMY! I didn't have spinach or feta on hand. I added an Italian twist to the dish by adding zucchini for the last few minutes of the simmer and topped with fresh basil and parmesan. Great hot or cold!!!

Creamy Banana Bread

Reviewed: May 29, 2005
Everyone always gives me hell for messing with traditional recipes, but no one could complain when they tried this bread. It was a HIT. I added more banana like others said. I also added a 1/2tsp of allspice and put half the cinnamon in the batter. Turned out wonderful!
