Spicy Rapid Roast Chicken
Reviewed:
Oct. 7, 2008
I really liked this method, although I wasn't nuts about the spices. I prefer the spices from the Sticky Rotisserie recipe here. But, I love, love, love how quick and good this was!

Janet's Rich Banana Bread
Reviewed:
Oct. 7, 2008
This is really and truly a fabulous banana bread! I've made it with sour cream (full fat) and with fat free Greek yogurt and both are delicious! I have also made this recipe as muffins with the topping from To Die For Blueberry Muffins and what a smash hit! Thank you for sharing!

Easy Greek Yogurt Cucumber Sauce
Reviewed:
Oct. 5, 2008
thanks fifth sister for such a yummy and healthy dip. i made this w/ fat free plain yogurt and lowfat sour cream. i didnt think the lemon zest was overpowering at all.(whoever said that must have gotten too much pith from the lemon in it). i did have to add an extra clove of garlic but it was my fault for not wanting to wait the 8 hours for the flavors to intensify. i made this to go w/ easy pita chips from this site. thanks for a new healthy snack that im totally addicted to!

Pita Chips
Reviewed:
Oct. 5, 2008
these were so good. hubby and i ate almost the whole batch. i made easy greek yogurt cucumber sauce (from this site)to dip them in and the combo was great. i applied the olive oil mixture before cutting as another reviewer suggested. i used a pastry brush and then cut the pitas w/ my kitchen shears instead of a knife. it made the process quick and easy. it took me 12 mins to fully crisp them up. i will know to double this recipe for company in the future since they went pretty quickly.

Orzo with Parmesan and Basil
Reviewed:
Oct. 5, 2008
this was really good and easy and it smelled great. i did sneak i bite before adding the parm and i actually liked it better before i added it. i felt the parm really took away from the velvety texture of the butter sauce.my advice is to try it before adding it and if you think it tastes great as is leave it. thanks for an easy recipe using inexpensive staple ingredients.

Crunchy Oven Fried Tilapia
Reviewed:
Oct. 5, 2008
this was just ok for us. i should have known better since tilapia really isnt very flavorful. i even added several spices to the flour mixture.i also was not a huge fan of the cornmeal in the breading. i really didnt like the texture of it. it could have been just me because i am not used to it though. i really wanted to like this but, sorry, wont make this again.

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I
Reviewed:
Oct. 4, 2008
this was really good. i used beef broth instead of water. i hadnt ever cooked w/ golden mushroom soup before. it gave the sauce a really great flavor. almost tasted like i used sherry in it. i would make it on a day when you are home so you can check on the sauce and make sure it doesnt dry out

Tex-Mex Patty Melts
Reviewed:
Oct. 3, 2008
These are a good burger. Very spicy, I made mine on Texas Toast; and I also took the advice of another reveiwer and put some fryed onions on them. Next time I might calm down on the chili spice. That tasted a little to powdery. But I will be making these again. Thanks for the recipe.

White Bean Chicken Chili
Reviewed:
Oct. 2, 2008
This was good but it did NOT serve more than 2 children and 2 adults. Luckily that's all it needed to feed but had I been depending on 9 servings it would have been quite disappointing! I also used salsa verde instead of tomatillos.

Mexican Cookie Rings
Reviewed:
Oct. 1, 2008
These cookies were yummy! They are very tender and buttery. I used the end of a wooden spoon to help give them an even ring shape. I didn't have any jimmies, so I used tiny dolphin-shaped sprinkles. Everyone enjoyed them and I will make them again!

Caramel Apple Bars II
Reviewed:
Sep. 30, 2008
Since caramel apples don't include cinnamon, I liked the recipe as is--caramel and apples, no cinnamon as others chose to add, and the flavor was just perfect. I used 2/3 of the mixture for the bottom crust and the remainder for the topping and I was happy with that. No need to measure the apples, just use enough to cover. I made half the recipe, which was just perfect in a 7x11" pan, but a 9x9" would have worked well too. I have mixed feelings about these bars--while they are delicious, they are not a sturdy bar so are best suited to "cut as you go" and eaten with a fork. Given that I made these for my husband's sta
