Pennsylvania-Style Pork Roast

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2009
I made this exactly as directed. The flavors combine to make a absolutely delicious dish. I served it with mashed potatoes but it would be just as good with roasted potatoes. I'm going to try it in the crockpot next time so we can enjoy it when I come home from work.

Grilled Tilapia with Mango Salsa

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2009
I'm not sure if the mangos that I used were sweet enough or maybe the mango salsa was just not to my taste. But the marinade was wonderful and I will definitely use it again to marinate fish and I might even try chicken. The mango salsa was beautiful to look at so I will definitely try it again.

Garlic Cheddar Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2009
This is a delicious recipe and very easy to make. I used chicken tenderloins which are easier to eat for kids but I gave it only 4 stars because it did come out soggy on the bottom after baking. Next time I'll bake it on a wire rack and it'll be 5 stars!

Sarah's Applesauce

Reviewed: May 6, 2009
I used 5 gala apples and only 1/8 cup of sugar. It smells so good while cooking it drew my husband and sons out to the kitchen to find out what I was making. It was delicious! Better than any store-bought applesauce and so easy to make.

Anna's Amazing Easy Pleasy Meatballs over Buttered Noodles

Reviewed: May 2, 2009
This recipe is so easy and sooooo good! I halved the recipe but discovered that there wasn't enough sauce. Next time I will make the amount of sauce in the recipe but half the meatballs. It was so good over egg noodles but I'm thinking how good these meatballs would be for a buffet. Great, easy recipe for a crowd. Thanks for sharing it!

Mini Reubens

I made these for a family get-together and they were a big hit. Delicious! I couldn't find cocktail rye bread, so I used a loaf of rye and cut each slice into 2 or 3 pieces. It also makes a great easy supper served with chicken noodle soup.

I added a whole 20 oz can of pineapple chunks and substituted coconut extract for the vanilla. My whole family absolutely love it. This is definitely going into my recipe collection.

As a professional baker and pastry chef I try a lot of recipes. I can say without a doubt that this is one of the best baked cheesecake recipes I have come across. The consistency and flavors are perfect and it lends itself well to variations.

Slow Cooker Chicken Alfredo

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2008
WOW! This was so good! I'm usually not a fan of any alfredo pasta, but my husband and sons love it so I gave it a try. It came out great! I followed the recipe to a tee but the only problem was that it took longer to cook than the recipe indicated. I turned the crockpot to high after the first 1 1/2 hrs and let it cook at least 1 1/2 hrs longer. The chicken was tender and the sauce was fantastic. Thank you for such an easy and delicious dinner.

Easiest Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2008
This recipe was so good and so easy. I used a beef brisket (that's what I had in the freezer) and the only thing I changed was that I added a can of beef broth instead of the water. Then I lightly buttered the rolls and placed them under the broiler until lightly browned, layered on the cheese and beef and gave everyone a small bowl of au jus. Just delicious! This will be on my Super Bowl Party menu.

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

I loved this recipe! It's so easy and oh so good. I did double the soup and water but not the worchestershire sauce or cream cheese. I added about half a cup of sour cream also at the end. I served it over egg noodles with a salad. Can't wait to make it again.

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Reviewed: May 28, 2008
What a delicious recipe! I browned the chicken in the olive oil/butter combination and since I didn't have any white wine, I used chicken broth. It was wonderful. I served it with mashed potatoes and my husband and son loved it. I will add more ham next time (at my husband's suggestion) because this one is a keeper!

Meatball Lasagna

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2008
I made this wonderful lasagna for a family get-together and it was delicious. My brother-in-law raved about it and pronounced it better than any restaurantlasagna he'd ever had. I've been making lasagna for years but I'd never tried adding meatballs (I used store-bought Italian style). What a wonderful additon! Also, in my own lasagna I usually use my favorite jar of spaghetti sauce, but the recipe sauce is so easy and so good that I'll be making this lasagna from now on. Thank you Addella!

Slow Cooker Italian Sausage Subs

I made these for our Super Bowl Party and they were delicious. I used Johnsonville Italian mild and hot sausages (we liked the hot best). I did add a little beef broth and let them cook all day. They were so flavorful and tender. My husband really liked them. Easy and delicious, it doesn't get much better than that! Thanks.

These are out of this world! Easy, yet a little time consuming but worth every minute. I baked them on non-stick foil for easy clean-up. My son thinks they're "the most delicious things to ever grace the earth". Okay, that's quite an overstatement but don't hesitate to try them.

This is definitely my kind of recipe. It couldn't be easier to make and it's delicious. I didn't change a thing but it's one of those recipes that is so adaptable that you could add other veggies, rice or macaroni. I love soup and I'll be making this one again and again. Thanks!
