Madison, Wisconsin

Though Madison is the political capital of Wisconsin, Madison is not only a city of politics it is also the city which represents our state to the nation as a truly wonderful melting pot of cultures. Wisconsin was founded by many Scandinavians, Germans and Irish. But times have changed and now Madison Wisconsin is a multi-cultural city not only in population but local cuisine as well. Madison prides itself on the things that have made Wisconsin famous worldwide -- cheese, beer and Bucky Badger brand snack foods -- but we also embrace a multitude of other cultures from Indian to Mexican, the Dane County Farmers Market to Brat Fest. We are a city that just loves our food, and we love it well.

Frosty Freezer Pie

So easy! I loved how quick this went together and kept for the few days until I needed it. Could probably make 2 pies with all the extra filling! Got lots of compliments! Be sure to decorate with raspberries to let people know the flavor (I got tired of telling them it which kind of berries it was.)

Cilantro Tomato Corn Salad

This was good for variety. I used frozen corn (thawed). Go easy on the garlic though!
