Madison, Wisconsin

Though Madison is the political capital of Wisconsin, Madison is not only a city of politics it is also the city which represents our state to the nation as a truly wonderful melting pot of cultures. Wisconsin was founded by many Scandinavians, Germans and Irish. But times have changed and now Madison Wisconsin is a multi-cultural city not only in population but local cuisine as well. Madison prides itself on the things that have made Wisconsin famous worldwide -- cheese, beer and Bucky Badger brand snack foods -- but we also embrace a multitude of other cultures from Indian to Mexican, the Dane County Farmers Market to Brat Fest. We are a city that just loves our food, and we love it well.

About me:
I moved to the San Diego area about 6 years ago from Madison, WI. It was a big move for me and ended up changing my life. I got a great job, met some great friends and was introduced to an amazing guy that is now my husband. Before San Diego I had never had Indian or Thai food, an avocado or a fish taco; now I couldn't live without any of the above.

Sherry Sour Cream Chicken

Reviewed on Dec. 28, 2009 by Christine
My family loved it...I used EVOO instead of butter, and drained a lil of it off before making the sauce. I just put a dash of the herbs into the sauce instead of on the chicken and I also only baked for 35 minutes...my 16 month old daughter wouldn't stop eating it...great recipe!!

Same recipe that is on the bag of coconut....but I had to turn temp to 250 and bake about 23 minutes to make them a nice even color.
