Awesome Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2007
amazing! I too used this recipe as I didn't want to even try to compete with my Mom's dressing. I did a trial run, and it was super yummy! I baked it on the side and didn't cover it, so I just added some stock as needed. I will cover it tomorrow and I'm sure it will be fine. :) Thanks for a great recipe!

Absolutely perfect in every way. I followed directions exactly..perfectly happy with everything. HUGE success at recent party. It was interesting to watch everyone's curiosity speculating over exactly what it all was slowly turn into a feeding frenzy!!

Wisconsin Native's Beer Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2007
I make a lot of soups, but this one was the best yet! A wonderful blend of Wisconsin favorites. Didn't have dry mustard, so used the mustard you put on hotdogs and it turned out delicious. Husband raved and craved!

Get a good dipping bread b/c the flavor of the sauce is terrific. Still not sure about debearding a mussel, so be sure to ask your grocer about that. Tasted good anyways.

Amazing Pecan Coffee Cake

I took this to work for a "brunch" and it was gone in minutes. What a hit! I more than doubled the pecan topping mixture and it took an hour to bake. This will definately make it's appearance again.

Pesto Tuna Salad with Sun-Dried Tomatoes

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2006
Terrific! I actaully made this with dry packed sun-dried tomatoes and just let them marinade over night. This worked out well. I also served it over brown rice which was also tastey. I will definetely make this again.

Chicken Curry I

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2006
This was a nice change of pace. However, the chicken came out a bit dry and the flavor overall needed something to give it more pop. We ended up adding sourcream to change it up and that helped a lot.

Mushroom and Leek Soup

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2006
I thought that this soup was pretty good, although quite a bit bland. I spiced this up by adding pinto beans and I also added buttermilk ranch seasoning (not the actual dressing) and my husband loved it. Goes great with Baby Bella Mushrooms.

Tom Ka Gai (Coconut Chicken Soup)

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2006
My husband really like this but I didn't think it was nearly as good as the one we had at the restaurant. Reduce the amount of fish sauce by 1/2. Also, add more red pepper to spice it up. The tumeric does indeed turn the soup a neon yellow, but it also goes with the territory.

Grill Dough

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2006
Outstanding recipe, the pizza was eaten up in a flash. I actually doubled the recipe and grilled all 4 dough/crusts on one day. We ended up adding the toppings to 2 crusts and then saving the extra 2 crusts for the next day. Again, all we had to do was add the toppings the second day, it refrigerated nicely. We also doubled the sugar for flavor. My husban is still raving about this!

Artichoke Spinach Lasagna

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2006
This was Amazing! I served this at a special dinner party and everyone was amazed at the unique idea of adding feta and artichokes to Lasagna. I also substiuted the feta for a Kraft Mediteranean (feta/mozzerela) blend and would do it again in a heart beat.

Mexican Shrimp Cocktail

Excellent Party appetizer. I wouldn't change a thing. I served this to my husband and some guests who were completely skeptical. They all came back begging for seconds. Looks great served in large Margarita glasses with fresh shrimp (not the marinated ones) hanging off the rim.

Spicy Orange Beef

This recipe was OK, but it was no where near as good as P.F.Changs. The soy sauce needs to be reduced a lot b/c the original recipe was too salty and the red pepper flakes could be doubled.

Pumpkin Soup

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2006
For a lighter version of this soup, I copied everything off this recipe except only added 1 Tablespoon of the Heavy Whipping Cream. Really I could have gone without the whipping cream all together. I modified this soup so it would be lighter in both fat and calories. I thought that the flavor and smooth texture was not compromised at all by reducing the whipping cream amount. My husband and I found this almost as good as the gourmet pumpkin soup that we at at Sandals in St.Lucia.

I thought this recipe was very easy to prepare. I followed it to the "T" and it was perfect. Once you change the recipe all around, it is not fair to give it a bad rating. I poured it over brown rice and it was absolutely delicious!

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: May 14, 2006
Definitely the BEST lasagna I've EVER had...all my guests agreed, even the pickiest eaters. Better than any restaurant types I've had. I used the Creamette "oven-ready lasagna noodles", only 6 strips of these kind of noodles, and it was perfect. The sauce is absolutely amazing. It really makes the dish. Thanks for sharing this recipe!!!
