Banana Banana Bread

Absolute perfection. You don't need another banana bread recipe. I doubled the recipe and added a bag of chocolate chips to the mix, as per the request of the kids. Really yummy.

Lemon Lush

This is a great and very versatile recipe. I like to add some chopped almonds to the crust- gives it a slightly nutty flavor. During the summertime I like to use banana pudding and the strawberry Kool-whip instead of lemon and vanilla. You can play around with different flavors- and even different flavors of cream cheese as well.

Summer Beer II

The first time I made this whas when my friends came out to visit me and my fiace and I now make it wether people are visiting or not... One thing that I like about this drink is if you keep it in the freezer, it becomes the purfect slush drink, no blender required. Remember, friends dont let friends blend drunk!

I don't measure...so mine was a little fluid, so I just simmered longer to thicken. Nice last-minute, low- on-groceries meal. And yeah...kinda Hamburger Helper-like.

Easy Cajun Jambalaya

I am a big fan of Cajun cooking! I bet that I made this a half a dozen times. Every time I made this it was different every time. Great base like a blank canvas. Very easy and I would recommend to anyone.

Wisconsin Bratwurst

As a Wisconsinite, if you want the classic flavor of a good old fashioned wisconsin brat, this is the way to do it. You can grill brats straight from the package or meat market, but it just is not the same. This adds so much to the flavor.

Sweet Potato Balls

I customize it a little bit by adding a little more brown sugar (we like it sweeter). But I've made it as the recipe states and it's perfectly yummy, too. How I make it just depends on what we're having it with. Those in my family who loves sweet potatoes love this recipe.
