This is a great patty (?)...I would not call it a burger, it might turn some people off. The taste is very natural and mild which I love and is a great place to start. thanks for great recipe!

Zucchini Pancakes

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2008
If I could give this recipe more stars I would!!!! The best zucchini recipe I found this season. I changed just slightly and only because I have extremely picky eaters. First, I peeled and pureed zucchini (my husband could not even tell) added 1Tbs sugar and used whole wheat pastry flour. Then, I allowed the batter to rest for about 10 minutes to let the baking powder activate. I can't believe how light and fluffy they were--from the photo they looked kind of dense but wow!!! thanks for such a great healthy recipe. My children secretly thank you, too.

Jelly Roll

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2008
I was so sad this did not turn out. Something must be missing. I did not over bake it but it seemed like there was not enough cake there. This even stuck to the parchment paper. I still continued on with this and wasted almost a whole jar of my strawberry preserves. Sorry.

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2008
Made the cake as directed, except substituted organic whole milk plain yogurt for sour cream. I made this for my boyfriend's birthday cake over Labor Day weekend, thinking it was just going to be for us two. We got an impromptu invite to a party, which requested we bring dessert. I only had made a half-recipe, so I ended up cutting it into itty-bitty slices, but complete strangers RAVED about how moist/chocolately the cake was. They licked the plate. Awesome compliment!! My go-to chocolate cake recipe hands down!

Chocolate Zucchini Cookies

I have been looking for a good zucchini cookie recipe and this is it. I took suggestions also; using butter and 2 1/8 cups flour (ww) and 2 cups ultra fine processede zucchini(i have very picky eaters)--they were awesome we ate them for breakfast--why not. Thanks

YUM! I zested 2 lemons and added with the zucchini (which I used 3 cups of only because it is coming out of my ears). Otherwise I followed recipe exactly--so delicious. thank you for another way to use up my zucchinis.

Simple Coleslaw

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2008
I think my problem with this recipe was I like sweet cole slaw. 1/4tsp sugar was just not enough--I added 1/4 cup and that was. I read the other reviews and no one else mentioned this so I think it might just be me...I however love the addition of horseradish (which I added more of too). thanks

Fantastic!!! Made this for our Sunday family dinner. Everyone was scared at first and only took one--they all came back for seconds and thirds. All the patties got eaten up!! I followed the recipe exactly but I added 1 Tsp Old Bay Seaoning as I am addicted to that flavor. Thanks for the great recipe!!

I am so surprised at how tasty these are!! I'm a traditional rice and tomato sauce cabbage roll eater--but I made these for our Sunday meal and they were fantastic!!! The sauce is surprisingly flavorful (though i let it get too hot and it was runny) the fresh dill is a must!! thanks for such a great recipe

Great recipe! I do south beach so I had to make small changes--fried the cabbage with a little olive oil and then with each individual serving i fried turkey bacon and then tossed the cabbage on top--it was fantastic!! (i bet with real bacon it would be even better!) thanks for the recipe.

Hamburger Gravy

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2008
This was a good basic recipe to start with. But drain the grease!!!! I found it much better to drain the grease, set aside the hamburger and form a roux in the pan with butter and flour, then pour in the milk and create the gravy only then adding the hamburger and letting it simmer until desired consistancy.
