Onion Soup Pork Chops

I may have done something horribly wrong here, but my pork chops didn't wow me like other recipes I've tried on this site have. They were okay, but turned out kind of dry and just not as favorful as I had thought. Definitely an okay recipe if you just have some pork chops laying around that you want to use, but nothing to say "wow" at...

Chocolate Zucchini Bread I

Reviewed on Oct. 13, 2009 by MercyGirl
yum yum yum. Another hit with my hubby. I made these originally to take to a meeting but we ended up buying cookies on the way because my husband wanted to keep them all for himself. I didn't have any bittersweet chocolate, so I used semi-sweet and just cut back the sugar a bit. I also substituted applesauce for ALL of the oil and it turned out just fine. Next time, I want to try throwing a banana into the mix. A definite winner!

My Kid's Favorite Pork Chops

Reviewed on Oct. 13, 2009 by MercyGirl
This is a winner! Easy, inexpensive, and YUUUUUMMY!! I accidentally bought bone-in pork chops, and they worked just fine. I used Jack Daniels BBQ sauce and an imported beer (something like "Spaten"??) my husband likes. My husband HATES pork chops, and made sure that I noticed that he was picking every piece of meat off of the bone because, "Heather - they're THAT good. This recipe is a KEEPER in our relationship." HA! Mine only had to simmer for about 45 minutes, but I also was only cooking 2 chops, and they were fairly thin. I'm eager to try this recipe again when we have company - SO EASY - just brown the chops, dump in the liquids and seasoning, then let it simmer! GREAT with wild rice, veggies, and rolls!
