Finnish Kropser (Baked Pancakes)

I really like this! I've made it a few times now. It's more of a wait than regular pancakes, but tastes so much better!

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed on Apr. 20, 2009 by LynnieFox
I make a walnut graham cracker crust for this that goes with it so much better. I also don't cook it at such a high heat. I took another users advice and go for the 225 for 3 hours and 40 minutes. I don't add as much flour as suggested, I use 1/8 of a cup and that seams to go perfectly. I use chocolate to decorate while it is still warm so I remove the sides of the spring form before it is totally cool so the chocolate will melt the correct way. A water bath is highly suggested, I use a roaster pan and it works very well. I guess overall I love the basis that this recipe gives me and it keeps people asking for more and more. remember don't mix it too much and make sure your cheese is at room temp.

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed on Apr. 14, 2009 by LynnieFox
This is the best Alfredo on the site that I have tried...so far... I did use part cream/part milk and I added parsley also. A little salt helps and a little (very little) but of nutmeg. I really liked to and so did the people I was feeding. I have to cut a star because I think it is better with less milk I used about 1 3/4 cup and not the whole amount. But overall it is the best so far, just needs a little bit of dressing up.
