Grilled Shrimp Scampi

Divine! Only my most favorite recipes get 5 stars! This was so good. I made two batches of the marinade, one batch for the shrimp and another batch to marinate boneless skinless chicken breasts. In the batch of marinade for the shrimp I used 4 tablespoons of butter. I only had dry parsely flakes. The red pepper flakes give it just the right "snap". I also pan fried both. It was great on both the chicken and shrimp. I served my surf and turf with fresh sweet corn.

Blueberry Buckle

very good! i found when i was putting on the topping, it wasn't enough to cover so i doubled the topping. it turned out to be a little too much, so I reccomend going 1 & 1/2 times on the topping. i made this in a 9 inch round cake pan, and was glad I did because it barely fit in that. I don't think the 8 inch square pan would have been big enough. great recipe though, very yummy!

Old-Fashioned Rice Pudding I

well, not sure what went wrong here. followed recipe to the letter. my was not dry as in previous reviews, however, it had a curd-like texture. although it did not taste bad, it just wasn't what i was looking for.

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Manicotti

great recipe! although, i used this recipe for the filling only. i used homemade manicotti crepes instead of store bought manicotti. the filling made about 10 crepes. i then made "quick and easy alfredo sauce" from this site, poured about 1/2 cup into bottom of 9x13 glass dish, lined up manicotti crepes, then spooned in more sauce on top. i partially covered with foil all but the last ten minutes. with remainder of the sauce i had made, i added one can of crabmeat and one can of tiny shrimp, and spooned seafood sauce over manicotti before serving. very good!

Cheddar Biscuits

awesome, almost like Red Lobsters. I used club soda instead of milk as suggested by previous review, and glad I did. I didn't have any garlic powder, so i used 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt in mix. i also mixed in parsley rather then just sprinkling it on top. instead of sprinkling top with garlic salt, i made garlic butter and brushed the tops after 8 minutes, then returned to oven for 7 minutes, then lightly brushed them again just before serving. I made them on Sunday, today is tuesday and the leftovers are still moist. I stored them in an air tight container on my counter top. thanks for the recipe!

this is very very good. i didn't have any sharp cheddar, but i'll use it next time for sure. I think I also use some of the mexican shredded cheese with hot pepper to give a little kick.

Peanut Butter Cake V

well, this was good, but i changed it a little. i poured the batter into two round cake pans and cut the baking time in half. i used the struessel topping as the filling between the layers. Mine however did not resemble a struessel topping, it looked more like cookie dough. I then frosted with chocolate frosting. To be quiet honest, with out the chocolate frosting I probably would not have eaten my whole piece. I was really loking forward to this, too because I love peanut butter.

this was ok. i used pizza crust and italian dressing. i didn't use the eggs. i sprayed the top with butter flavor cooking spray and sprinkled asiago cheese on it. my husband said it was good, but didn't rave about it.

Great hot dip. I would use spicey shredded cheese in addition to the chiles. I also used canned chiles like suggested in an earlier review. I rinsed the dried beef and ours was not salty. Great with tortilla chips, also.

Kentucky Butter Cake

very good! the one thing i would point out is that the butter be softened prior to mixing. i also creamed the sugar/butter/eggs together prior to adding the buttermilk and other dry ingrediants as suggested from an earlier review. i increased the sauce about 50% and added 1 tspn cinnamon. i also used two 8 inch cake pans, but i'm going to get a bundt pan before i make this again. USE Bakers Joy - it wont stick to the pan even after completely cooled.

Buffalo Style Chicken Pizza

yum, yum, yum! this was so good. i used a pillsbury pizza crust and pressed it out on a cookie sheet, and it was very thin so next time i will use two on one cookie sheet for a thicker crust. also i used light ranch instead of blue cheese, and only about 1/4 of a bottle. instead of hot sauce i used beano's chicken wing sauce and low fat mozzerela.

Day Before Mashed Potatoes

these potatoes are divine. very thick and rich. this is the best recipe i have gotten off of this site so far. only one note, i had to bake the potatoes for an hour to heat through. recipe calls for 30 minutes.
