Biscuits for Two

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2008
I tried these today and have to say was a little dissappointed. They did not rise at all, but actually had a good taste. I added 1/4 tsp. sugar to this recipe which I think made the taste better. I think next time maybe I will use a little more baking powder and as another reviewer stated add about 1/8 tsp. baking soda. We'll see.

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies III

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2008
After all the good reviews, I was expecting a phenomenal cookie...these were just ok. As others have said, they need to be cooked much longer. I did 365 degrees for 12 minutes and they were still a little underdone. Also, this is way WAY too many chocolate chips for my taste...I would cut it in as least half. This recipe has good potential, and I'll probably make them again, but with fewer chips and a longer baking time.

Cherry Pork Chops

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2008
I read all reviews b4 making this dish and decided that just the cherry pie filling was not enough to keep them from sticking to the crock pot badly so I added a can of crushed pineapple to it. I also added some of my favorite spices, (basil, garlic granules, marjoram and cayenne pepper. These actually came out very, very tender and juicy. I cooked them on low for 4-5 hours and 4 would have been just enough. I will be using this one frequently as it is quick, easy and tasty! Thanks for another great recipe!

Tender Pork Roast

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2008
I made this pork roast tonight and it was very juicy and tender! I did change it up just a bit, used brown sugar and honey instead of white sugar and honey mustard instead of ground mustard. It did turn out very tasty! Thanks and I will definetly be making this one again!

Bake Sale Lemon Bars

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2008
I followed the directions dilligently and these were not very good. I was baking for a bakesale and after several batches they were either too hard or too soft. The lemony taste was good but with it's inability to produce consistant results I'm afraid I wont be making it again....

No Bake Cookies III

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2008
I have used this recipe upon several occasions. I even used it to make cookies for a bake sale event. I must say they are quite good. However I run into a problem every now and again with them setting up. Sometimes they do...sometimes they dont...

Meatloaf With A Bite

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2008
I didn't have as much Salsa as needed for this recipe. So I improvised, using taco seasoning in the meat mixture and mixing the little bit of salsa I did have with a ketchup, mustard, brown sugar and taco seasoning concotion. MY family ate every last bite and with three kids and a finicky fiance that's saying something.

Easiest Peanut Butter Fudge

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2008
This was my first attempt at candy making...and it turned out good. The fudge was rich and delicious. I followed other posters advice and altered the amount of the ingredients a bit and it was still tasty! I'm glad I tried this, with so few ingredients I will definitely be making it again...:)

Made these for a pot luck and they were excellent!! Will make again and again. I didn't use as much onion but that is a personal preference.

Sweet Restaurant Slaw

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2007
This slaw was absolutely wonderful. I made it exactly how it was written except I had to shred a head of cabbage and some fresh carrot for the slaw mix so I wasn't sure when I had 16 ounces. It turned out really good. Thanks for sharing, will make again. Gail

Cookies 'n Cream Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2007
This cake turned out good. I made it in a sheet cake pan(9 x 13 x 2).I added 2 cups of crushed oreos to the batter and it was good. I made the frosting and it did taste just like the frosting in the center of the oreo cookies. I also crushed the remainder of the bag of cookies and sprinkled on top of the frosting. I served it with vanilla ice cream and then wished I had bought the cookies and cream ice cream. The cake did not last, as every one said it was great. Thanks for a keeper. Gail
