Just okay for me. I was expecting more. It was a little heavy and not very flavorfull. I was looking for a light and airy texture and this wasn't it.

Grilled Lemon Herb Pork Chops

Just like the heading says "SO SIMPLE YET SO GOOD". I made these with Fasoliyyeh Bi Z-Zayt (Syrian Green Beans with Olive Oil), and Lemony Quinoa and the dinner was fantastic. Thanks for recipe.

This side dish was great with Grilled Lemon Herb Pork Chops and Fasoliyyeh Bi Z-Zayt (Syrian Green Beans with Olive Oil(both from this site). I could not find Quinoa so I used couscous and it was still great. I also couldn't get any pine nuts so I used toasted slivered almonds. MMMMMMMMM!

Fasoliyyeh Bi Z-Zayt (Syrian Green Beans with Olive Oil)

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2009
This is now the way I will be making my green beans. These were to die for. I actually cooked these in a foil roasting pan on the grill while I was cooking up the chops.(Grilled Lemon Herb from this site) and Lemony Quinoa. This dinner idea came together perfectly and with 444 cal., 26g fat, and 35mg of cholesterol, you can't go wrong.

Kentucky Hot Brown

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2009
I made a turkey on the grill last sunday and was wondering what to make with the leftovers. Wow, I am glad I came across this. I didn't have any tomatoes on hand, so I used a can of Rotel diced tomatoes with green chiles. Gave it some zip. Wifey is not too fond of tomatoes, but she enjoyed this dish. In my recipe box for good!

Poke Cake II

Reviewed: May 29, 2009
I used to make this all the time and am making it for coffee hour at church this Sunday. AND I'm making it with the diet sprite and sugar free jello - an elderly member of church told me that's how she makes it and it's delicious. However, I do remember that we used to "poke" this with the handle of a wooden spoon leaving nice holes for the Jello to go down. This is an old recipe that always goes over really well.

Amish White Bread

This was just okay...I followed the recipe as is and it came out very heavy and too sweet. I'll try making it again as this was my first attempt with bread. I'll probably cut back on the amount of sugar as suggested by other reviews.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2009
Loved them! Easy to make and roll. This is the first recipe for sugar cookies I've made that have turned out well (and I've tried lots!). Thanks for sharing the recipe!! Oh, and one of the tips I found helpful and will continue to use is rolling out on sugar instead of flour for easy removal. Works awesome.
