Peach Cobbler V

Reviewed: May 9, 2008
So easy. So simple. So good. I did as others suggested and added a wee bit more flour. I also added 1 cup off additional fruit (frozen blackberries) with an extra TB of sugar. Because we like spices I added 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/8 tsp mace (or use 1/4 tsp nutmeg), 1/4 tsp allspice, 1/4 tsp cloves, and 1/4 tsp cardamom (we love cardamom here). It was SO yummy. My husband loved the peach and blackberry combo with the spices (it was lightly spicy - complimented rather than overwhelmed). Awesome served with some vanilla ice cream too! (inexpensive to make and can go as simple as recipe suggests or add spices or an additional cup of frozen berry to fancy it up- versatile!)

Antipasto Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2008
This is awesome!! Been making it for a couple years now. Husband gets very excited when he knows I am making this. I make it for summer get togthers or weekend suppers where I don't want to cook. We'll just eat it for 2 or 3 days in a row. Some crusty bread and a green salad or raw veggies and good to go!

Chicken Biscuit Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2008
mmm good! a nice winter comfort food. As good as any store bought pot pie, and easy to make as well. I only had canned carrots an peas, and it still turned out delicious, and I used a can of biscuits for the top layer, all I did was unroll them and flatten them out some and press them along the edges of the dish and it turned out great. This is a keeper:-)

Cream Cheese Squares

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2008
OH MY GOD!!! these were so easy and so good! yummmmyyyy! I did not need to put mine in the fridge to be able to cut it, all I did was give them 15 minutes to cool in the pan and they came out fine. I loved them and they are so easy to put together, I will be taking them to family gatherings!

Chunky Cheesecake Brownies

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2008
this is ABSOLUTELY YUM YUM YUM!! I am a boxed borwnie buyer b/c I can never make them from scratch the way I like them to taste. I thought I would give this a try since it had cream cheese, something different in it, and I am sooo glad I did!! the texture and flavor was phenomenal, and it was kind of cakey and cooked enough around the edges, and still a lil gooey and chocolately in the middle. A favorite for my recipe book!!! Thank you:)

Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2008
I agree that this recipe is too hard to use when trying to spread in two crusts. the mix is very dough like-delicious-but dough like. I only used one crust and it was still fairly thin, so I think two crusts wouldnt work well. Very delicious though. the pudding is a great idea!

Salsa Chicken

this chicken is delicious!! I covered it when it was baking and just added to the cooking time and it was so juicy and the flavoring was so wonderful! Must be served over rice for best results I think!! Sooo good!

I thought these were so yummy, for being so basic! I bought little weenies with cheese and the crescents stayed soft and they were just really good, and cheap to make!

Seven Layer Taco Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2008
I thought this was okay, I thought the salsa was maybe too much or something, it seemed to overtake the rest of the ingredients. Other than that, it was good.

Luau Punch

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2008
yummy, I was looking for a recipe similar to this, although I suggst putting lots of ice in to keep it slushy while it is beig served, and peach sherbert would be best, I tried raspberry, and I thought it took something away from the luau taste of it, but still delicious!

Spinach-Pork Stuffed Shells

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2008
This recipe turned out even better than it sounded. It was so good I was stuffed and could not stop going and getting more. I added a bit more garlic than suggested and about two minutes before coming out of the oven I added Shredded Montery Jack cheese to the top and put it back in the oven for the last two minutes. It was Awesome and will be cooked many more times in my Kitchen
