Oven Fried Chicken III

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2009
I give all 5 stars for taste, tender/juicyness. I added some milk with the mayo and added 2 heaping tablespoons of miracle whip and just added more or less mayo in a bowl and whisked til my desired thickness. Threw all chicken pieces into a gallon storage bag and poured mixture over it, made sure well coated, let it sit in fridge for a couple of hours til I was ready to cook it up. I turned the heat up to 375 and baked it for an hour and 20 minutes {I have to use a convection oven}. When done I let chicken rest for 10 minutes, it was so good! Any crumbs that fell off when eating I put in my mashed potatoes for crunch, yummy stuff. No more shake and bake here. Even reheated in oven, it crisped back up and stayed juicy, especially the dark meat. this recipe is awesome!

Broccoli-Cauliflower Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2009
Quick and easy to put together. I made 2 days in a row for different functions. First day made as written. Excellent. Second day added green onions and sunflower seeds. Mixed dressing in with broccoli cauliflower layer, layered eggs, cheese, bacon and drizzled small amount of dressing on top. My BFF went to both parties and second day was better due to dressing mixed in (said 1ST day she only got small amt in serving and second day it was more coated. Otherwise was good both ways.Easily alters to suit tastes which make this recipe tops in my rotation.

Flatlander Chili

I found the perfect recipe. Everyone that tried it ended up with a bowl, even the ones that didn't like my other chili. Thanks, George! P.S. This is a chili recipe for those who don't like it too hot or too whimpy. It's perfect.

Naan

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2009
This bread was amazing. Easy to make and just impressive! It is the best bread I've tasted outside of an Indian restaurant. I was paying $2.79 at a local grocery store for TWO pieces of Naan bread and this recipe yielded at least 15 good sized pieces and they tasted better. Don't worry if they look floppy on your grill. Make sure you spray your grill w/nonstick spray, arrange the dough, and you just watch them rise. It's that simple.

Outrageous Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2009
Another perfect cookie recipe on Allrecipes. If anyone does not like this recipe, they shouldn't be in the kitchen. You could easily sneak oatmeal into a diet of someone who doesn't like it and they would never know. It's a cookie with subtle peanut butter flavor and the chocolate chips rock!

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2008
Do you like Soft Batch cookies? If so, you have the recipe right here. I pulled these cookies out just as they were browning on the edges and let them sit on the cookie sheet over a baking rack. The results were warm, gooey chocolate chip cookies that had a crisp edge. This recipe is a keeper.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

These cookies come out light and they really have volume. The flavor is also excellent. The dough MUST be chilled or you will have a difficult time with it sticking to the cutters. I don't need any other recipe than this one.

Very good! I didn't want it to have a strong garlic flavor so I omitted the chopped garlic but did add garlic powder and onion powder. I also added extra basil and it had a great pizzeria flavor.

Amish White Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2008
This bread is the best bread I have made to date. It's full of flavor and incredibly easy to make. If you can read directions, this is the recipe for you. I sprinkled Cheddar Cheese on the top and it was great. I recommend that if you want to make rolls out of this recipe, it's possible but make the dough balls small. I made some and the rolls are like mini loaves of bread.
