This recipe was awesome! So easy to make. I subsituted chipotle peppers for the dried peppers and it gave it a smokey taste. Yum!

Cheesy Chicken Poblano Chowder

Great Flavor but needs some tweaking in my opinion. Maybe less chicken broth, and adding the cheese first before the other ingredients. Definitely has potential and the spices are perfect. Will definitely try again!

Ninety Minute Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2009
I'm eating this right now and had to write the review immediately. These are AMAZING. They took me just under 2 hours though (because I tend to not prep ahead of time), and they actually rose kind of funny in the oven, "tim burtony" describes them. I put them in a 9x13 pan and baked for 25 minutes, took them out when brown on top but still soft (not doughy) inside. I thought 1 tbsp cinnamon wouldn't be enough but it's perfect!! I topped them with cream cheese frosting someone else mentioned on here and they're delicious. I don't think I've ever had a cinnamon roll this good.

The Best Chicken Soup Ever

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2009
Excellent! Used what I had on hand (daughter and grandson both have colds with fevers). I used 4 chicken leg quarters, added some mixed veggies--didn't have any pasta so I threw in the macaroni from a boxed mac & cheese. Also used chicken soup base since I didn't have the chicken soup mix.

Glazed Meatloaf I

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2009
WOW really good! I followed others advice, used 3/4 cup bread crumbs rather than slices, onion rather than onion powder, a dash of hot sauce in the glaze, and I didn't have any mustard on hand but it didn't matter, SO GOOD! Really, I never liked meatloaf as a kid. This was great, my fiancee and I will definitely make this again. :D

Dad's Hamburger Gravy

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2009
Great flavor! Didn't make as written. Was making frozen hamburer patties and wanted more than just a burger and fries so I cooked the burgers then followed the rest of the recipe to make gravy. Served with cheesy bacon potatoes from this site. Next time I will follow the recipe, I'm sure we'll love it!

Very good. Accidentally left out onion (I usually put onion in EVERYTHING!), left out olives on purpose. Instead of mayo use 1/2 cup margarine and 1/2 cup sour cream. Also added some shredded cheddar on top in addition to the american cheese I mixed in.

LOVE THIS RECIPE!!!! This is one of the best ideas of the 21st century!!! I'm not much of a baker, so I used devils food cake mix, and premade cookie dough. I think next time I am going to use chocolate cake mix and peanut butter cookie dough with chocolare chips!!

Mrs. Sigg's Fresh Pumpkin Pie

Can't go wrong with a pumpkin pie in the fall, especially one as good as this one. I cooked it in the microwave and then tried blending it with a hand-mixer-didn't work, so I put it in the blender. Perfect!

Fabulous Homemade Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2009
This bread is so amazingly light and fluffy. I didn't want to make 6 loaves worth of dough, so I cut the recipe down to 1/3 (I only made 2 loaves) and it was great! The next day though I noticed the bread was a little dry even though I stored it in an airtight bag, so I think cutting the recipe either lost some water or gained some flour. I used my mixer most of the way, but hand-kneaded a lot of the flour. I ended up having to make it the next day for someone else who wanted to take it to a party, but in little muffin form! For that I just put a little dough in the bottom of well-greased pans, let them sit for another hour to rise, and baked for 15-17 minutes. They turned out just as perfect as the loaves. Just don't add too much flour - you want sticky dough when it comes to bread or you'll get a dry loaf.

German Apple Pancake

I didn't really know what to expect, but it turned out to be DELICIOUS. It's like eating hot apple custard. I did everything just as written but doubled the cinnamon and the apples. I had some the next day too and still delicious!! Mine looks *exactly* like LESLEYfromWI's photo, too, edges and all. Keeping this recipe for a lonnnnng time.
