didn't have a muffin pan so i made these just by rolling one inch balls and putting them on a cookie sheet...they weren't as tall but they were still fabulous!

Coconut Milk Shrimp Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2009
Great flavor! I stuck to the recipe except for leaving out one of the carrots and adding 1 chopped celery stalk when cooking the mushrooms. I agree with the previous reviewer that there wasn't enough liquid to call this a soup; the pasta just soaks it all up. I added 4 cups of veggie stock to make more of a broth. This soup is attractive and a nice way to switch up my usual rotation of meals. Thanks!

Hot Cocoa Marshmallow Cupcakes

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2009
I used actual hot cocoa mix packets in the marshmallow, and piped in a small amount of chocolate pudding into the top of the baked cupcake. These were fantastic! Served them at a bonfire. Everyone loved them!

I grew up thinking this was Goulash!! Except we didn't have the green pepper, which is an excellent addition!! I forgot all about this untill I saw this recipe. Thanks for the reminder, and the green pepper idea. I will make it like this from now on.

Just some tips... Add the chips and the dressing right before serving otherwise it can get soggy. Also, you can add whatever veggies you like, peppers, onions, olives... the list is endless.

Garlic Cheddar Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2009
Very good, I love garlic and my BF loves cheese so it's a win-win recipe. The shredded chedder cheddar was kind of hard to work with. Next time I think I will get the block of cheddar and grate it, mix it in with the bread crumbs. Thanks for the recipe!!

I added a little more cinnamon- but I agree with others in that this is more of a cake than a bar- maybe cut down on the baking powder

yum! for a healthier take, sub greek yogurt (usually in the organic section at the grocery store) for the cream cheese. I suppose you could sub regular yogurt too, but greak yogurt isn't sweet at all and tastes much truer to sour cream/cream cheese. this was a great recipe. thanks!

Hearty Split Pea Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2009
I wish I could give it 4 1/2 stars! It was great- just one recommendation: wait to add salt til after it's done and you taste it. The ham added a lot of salt to the soup, and it was almost too salty! Otherwise, a fantastic recipe---definitely will be making this again.

Cheesy Chicken Poblano Chowder

Great Flavor but needs some tweaking in my opinion. Maybe less chicken broth, and adding the cheese first before the other ingredients. Definitely has potential and the spices are perfect. Will definitely try again!

Ninety Minute Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2009
I'm eating this right now and had to write the review immediately. These are AMAZING. They took me just under 2 hours though (because I tend to not prep ahead of time), and they actually rose kind of funny in the oven, "tim burtony" describes them. I put them in a 9x13 pan and baked for 25 minutes, took them out when brown on top but still soft (not doughy) inside. I thought 1 tbsp cinnamon wouldn't be enough but it's perfect!! I topped them with cream cheese frosting someone else mentioned on here and they're delicious. I don't think I've ever had a cinnamon roll this good.

The Best Chicken Soup Ever

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2009
Excellent! Used what I had on hand (daughter and grandson both have colds with fevers). I used 4 chicken leg quarters, added some mixed veggies--didn't have any pasta so I threw in the macaroni from a boxed mac & cheese. Also used chicken soup base since I didn't have the chicken soup mix.
