Pesto Pizza

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2009
I made my own pizza crust, which is really so easy. I made my own pesto too with fresh basil, I'd give it a five star rating if you do that. I also added some thinly sliced cooked chicken breast strips.

I used this recipe to make my first Thanksgiving turkey this year and it turned out wonderfully! It was very moist and tasty and easy to do!

Veronica's Hot Spinach, Artichoke and Chile Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2009
Impress with this dish! After reading over the suggestions, I made the following changes - Instead of two blocks of cream cheese, I used one and about a 1/2 cup of low-fat sour cream. This dish was super tasty! I even had a friend tell me she could never eat another artichoke dip again because it just wouldn't be as good. Try this one for sure - you will not be let down!

Alyson's Broccoli Salad

Instead of using all broccoli, I used a mix of broccoli and cauliflower. I added an additional 2 tsp. of sugar and used Craisins instead of raisins.

Cobb Salad Ham Roll-ups

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2009
These were great! I used real bacon bits to avoid having to cook a pack of bacon. They were great, although I'd recommend making sure that your ham isn't too thin or they could fall apart when you roll them.

The egg salad was good, but I didn't care for the bitter flavor of the endive with it.

We had this at a party and loved it an immediately came home and found the recipe. It doesn't really look delicious, but it's worth it.

I did not care for the ranch flavor of the cream cheese. I ended up throwing away most of the cream cheese and not finishing these.

Special Butterscotch Chip Cookies in a Jar

I really liked these cookies and I don't really like coconut either. I thought they could have used a little more flour for substance as there was lots of coconut and I wouldn't recommend flattening the balls. I'll definitely make these again though.

Chinese Chicken Fried Rice I

Great and fast recipe. Added more soy sauce for flavor, but raved by my husband. I left out the chicken and made another chicken dish to pair with it and used this as a side dish, then made the (what was left) leftovers lunch the next day. Thanks!

Super delicious and super easy. Great spin on your run-of-the-mill deviled eggs recipe and a crowd pleaser. I used microwavable bacon and it was easy and wonderful. Using it for a party next weekend so thanks!

Wonderful recipe! Love the boiling water effect. I use this recipe to make Cake Balls, also on this website, and I cut the recipe in half and it makes about 30 Cake Balls. I upped the unsweetened cocoa powder to 1 full cup and it came out so great. Really rich and moist! Thanks!

Strawberry Cupcakes

Enjoyed these very much. Didn't have any strawberry extract, so I used vanilla and they still turned out. I would go 1/2 cup finely chopped strawberries and I love the fruit and felt the 1/4 cup left me wanting more.

As suggested before I used 1/2 cup white, and 1/2 cup brown sugar and butter instead of shortening and frozen blueberries. My husband is an avid blueberry lover and loved this recipe. Easy to make and stores fairly well. Thank you!

Perfect! Tastes great, looks great, and wows the crowd! I have used this several times and it always comes out perfectly. I would just make sure you color what you need to be colored while it's still hot and use Crisco to roll out the dough as suggested before. Thanks!

Certainly worth making! I added less spinach for lack of ingredients and it needed to be spread thin, but was still great. Really wonderful change of pace from your normal everyday lasagna. Try it!

Really enjoyed this first time around when I added chicken. I would recommend adding bean sprouts though and it was much more authentic I felt. Second time around I followed the recipe and didn't add chicken or bean sprouts and my husband was disappointed. Other than that, really great! Thanks!
