Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed on Mar. 26, 2009 by Rachael
I used this recipe to make a layered cake instead of a bundt cake, which gave me 3 9" layers. I just finished Course 1 of Wilton Cake Decorating classes and I made this cake specifically for that. After I had decorated it and my picture was taken with it, my instructor and classmates were all dying for the recipe after having a small slice. I don't know if I would make this on a regular basis for my future classes, but if you're craving chocolate, this is the cake to make!

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed on Jan. 28, 2009 by Rachael
The guys are always asking me to make something on game nights, but one recently asked me to make pancakes. Having made this recipe once before and knowing how good it was, I made it for them and they loved it! Now they have trouble figuring out if they want my homemade pizza or pancakes when they come over!

Cabbage Rolls III

Reviewed on Dec. 29, 2008 by LadyRattrap
My grandmother always made these for New Year's. she only used fresh unseasoned pork sausage, 1/4 cup rice per pound of meat, and no onions. then she would make little logs using 1/4 cup meat, (pigs as she called them) and then roll them in a sour head blanket(cabbage soaked in a brine). she layered sauerkraut, sliced onion, then a layer of pigs. Layering them til all the pigs were in the electric roaster pan, cover them with additional sauerkraut and cook them all day long on 325 degrees. then just before midnight we all had a plate of pigs and kraut over mashed potatoes.
