Golden Pork Chops

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2009
I loved the idea, but took another reviewer's advice and made it all in a pan (browned the chops, sauteed the onions/mushrooms, added 1/2 cup of skim milk to the soup and then added it all together and simmered for 10 minutes until it cooked through). Served over roasted cauliflower, and it was delicious. Thanks for the great idea for dinner tonight!

Awesome Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2009
Just made this today for my sick fiance. Followed the instructions exactly, except I cooked the noodles separately, as suggested by reviewers, because I have dealt with mushy noodles in the past. It was very good. The flavor of the broth was very light, but that was good for the sick man in the house!

I used splenda no calorie to replace half the sugar and applesauce to replace the vegetable oil- it was moist and delicious! Recommend with chocolate chips or cranberries baked in.

I cooked this recipe as it was, no changes and it was great. I have a 16 year old and he is very picky, but this won him over. He even had leftovers the next day and said it was better. Yup i would make this again. Thank you

Stuffed Pattypan Squash

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2009
This was great! It exceeded my expectations. I was a little confused when the recipe called for me to have stem removed and then told me to remove the stem in the directions, but I just left them on and removed them after cooking. I did use reduced fat colbyjack and parmesan, and it was wonderful!

I also thought this was dry even with the changes mentioned by other viewers, but it did have great flavor!

Grilled Brown Sugar Pork Chops

This was just too sweet for my own personal preference. My husband and I are not huge fans of pork chops but my parents are and eat them often so we're always trying new recipes to please both parties. Sadly this tastes just like a sweet pork chop, which did not please, but thanks for sharing!

Pork Chops with Onions and Apples

I thought this was too simple to be a five-star recipe but it was definitely amazing and the best thing is that it is so easy! We reduced the onion amount but I actually wished I had used a bit more because the caramelized flavor is sooooo good!

I didn't have all of the spices so I used Mrs. Dash as an alternative. It turned out great! It's very easy to make and my husband agrees, we are keeping this recipe around!!

I had a bunch of strawberries and bananas left over from making a fruit salad the other day and wanted to find a new recipe to try and found this one. I'm pretty new to making breads so I wasn't sure how it would turn out. It was very easy and it turned out great!

No Bake Chocolate Oat Bars

Reviewed: May 14, 2009
I made these bars using other users recommendations and also a small alteration of my own. I used 3/4 cup of butter and 3/4 cup of peanut butter and since I only had 2 cups of oats I used 1 cup of finely chopped pecans. These bars were so good that they literally disappeared!I think next time I will make sure to pat the crust down more though to prevent them from crumbling and I'll use less peanut butter because they never really hardened. Overall awesome though and I will make again!

Baked Omelet Squares

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2009
This is really great! We were looking for a new breakfast idea, and this fit the bill. Love the cheese layer at the bottom. I sauteed one onion, one green bell pepper, 1/2 red bell pepper, and fresh mushrooms for the veggies. No black olives or jalapenos--just didn't think we would like it in the morning, but I'm sure it would be good.

Easy Red Beans and Rice

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2009
This was great with the addition of a little cayenne pepper and some celery. I have had traditional red beans and rice, and while this is not the same, it is still really, really good for what it is. Just add some additional spices if you like it spicy! Even my boy loved it, although he has seen me eat red beans and rice at cajun restaurants and declared it looked "disgusting."

I think the summary of this cake hits it on the nose.....Easy, delicious, and moist! I couldn't find my almond extract and it was delicious so I can only imagine it would be better with the contrast of the nut flavor!

Cream Cheese Pound Cake III

I made this cake for out Preference Night for our sorority. Everyone raved about it and the new girls said they'd join just so they could have this cake again! I am more of a critic of my own cooking so I only gave this a 4 because I thought there was something missing, but I just can't put my finger on it.... but there was none left at the end for me to take home so that was a plus!

Shortcut Minestrone

I really enjoyed it! I skipped the brown sugar, added some salt and pepper, and put in zucchini with the bean/spaghetti sauce step instead of adding frozen green beans at the end. Oh, and I made sure I bought a decent spaghetti sauce--one that I would enjoy on pasta. Thanks for a quick, easy, healthy recipe!

Very good. My fiance doesn't like red-sauce pasta dishes, and I don't enjoy alfredo, but we both like this. My dad used to make it for me when I was little :) I used fresh mushrooms and whole wheat pasta, and all cream of mushroom since that's what I had on hand. It worked well! Thanks!
