Salsa Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2009
Very good. I made it exactly as the recipe states. I don't see the need to mess with it. It's supposed to be a simple, tasty recipe. It bothers me how so many reviewers took this easy recipe and tried to make it difficult and completely different. It's good as is. I gave it 5 stars because I did it the way the original poster wanted it and loved it. Thanks for the recipe!

Yum! The boys in our family loved this. I used an instant oatmeal pack instead of the almonds

Interesting flavor. The cinnamon really makes this dish different. I would make it again. I used slices of provolone cheese instead

Kyle's Favorite Beef Stew

I made this the other day in the crock pot. Hands down the best beef stew I have ever made. My husband asked me if I really made it or bought it!! I did it exactly the way it is written. I will make this again and again. Perfect for those cold winter nights....

Cheesy Ham and Hash Brown Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2009
This was WONDERFUL! In fact I made a lot and hubby and I had it three nights in a row with dinner rolls. I used two packages of O'Briens hashbrowns, 2 cans cream of potato soup and one can cheddar cheese soup. Then used half the container plain sour cream and half a container of french onion sour cream. Also doubled the amount of diced ham and a little more shredded cheese. What a great dish!

Baby Carrots with Dill Butter

Was not feeling this at all! Sorry but I can't understand some of the good reviews. I didn't think these were anything special at all. I made them as a side dish for thanksgiving. I don't know why but they seemed dry and unflavorful. Will not make again.

Best Ever Sausage with Peppers, Onions, and Beer!

Used roasted red peppers and one can of beer and served over rice. Ideally i would have used buns with melted cheese but we didn't have any. I will make it again though with the buns.

Easy to make, but baking it was sort of difficult. I was so worried to over bake them. The top was starting to brown, but the inside was still under cooked..

Strawberry/Rhubarb Crumb Pie

This was quite delicious, but I had to cut the sugar to 3/4 cup--otherwise it was way too sweet for my tastes. It also took a lot longer to bake than the recipe instructs--it took about 65 minutes. It was a huge hit at work, though!

Zucchini Crust Pizza

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2009
my hubby loved it! I give it 4 stars because I wasn't as thrilled. When browsing reviews I couldn't figure out how someone could describe a pizza as "quiche-like" but after baking mine, I found out why. It is soft and quichey, tastes like a thin quiche! didn't have Feta, used mozzarella, added sliced green & red peppers

I didn't even have to flip these and they tasted amazing, not soggy at all. Best apple dish that I have ever had. Do make sure that the apples are cut into smaller chunks and toss them with cinnamon and sugar.
