I'm a student at the University of Minnesota, Duluth. I'll be graduating in about a year and a half, so I suppose I'd better learn to cook, since I need to stop eating out all the time. :p

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies I

Reviewed on May 6, 2008 by Alyssa
This recipe was pretty good! I took the advice of the people who didn't like this recipe and added a little more flour so that they wouldn't flatten as much. I would also make half the sugar brown sugar rather than white. (I didn't do that. I was out of brown sugar, which is why I chose this recipe.) They are a little brownie-ish, but not as brownie-ish if you bake them a little longer.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed on Apr. 16, 2008 by MrsWifey/Mommy
Yummy! I added a tsp of garlic powder and curry powder, each, for some boost-flavor. Comfort food, easily made! Used thights & breasts first time, just breasts 2nd time, both came out great. Also made my own biscuit dough & it was cheaper!

Orange Beef-Style Tofu Stir-Fry

Reviewed on Apr. 3, 2008 by MrsWifey/Mommy
As Willy Wonka (Jonny Depp version) said, "Ew." Not at all pleasant, the tofu was just crispy, but softening in the sauce ...tofu -no taste about it! My hubby said, "crunchy, chewy water-flavored Chinese food. Please don't make this again." I spent well over 25 mins prepping to have to tell the kids to "eat up, Puh-leez?" and only end up tossing 3/4 of it. Ho hum. The sauce was good on the carrots though, which gives this one star.
