I have made this twice now.....to outstanding reviews. Lengthy to make but well worth it. Excellent flavor and consistency. No mush in this one

Baked Asparagus with Balsamic Butter Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2007
I found this to be a very tasty asparagus dish. I never liked asparagus as a child, and decided the other day to give it a "grown-up" try - this recipe caught my eye. I did add some left-over sauted mushrooms to it, as well as a couple of different random spices. I really enjoyed this dish!

Pesto Pizza

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2007
I really liked this pizza! I used the refrigerated pizza crust in a can (which is one thing I would do differently next time; the crust was not as thick as I would have preferred) and I used only one sliced tomato. I also added some chopped mushrooms and lightly sprinkled some onion and garlic powder on the top. I added just a touch of shredded mozz & sharp cheddar. I have to say... this pizza is not for everyone. I think that if I tried to serve this to most of the people I know (who LOVE their meats and cheeses), well, they'd probably only eat a square or two. Myself - I prefer my pizza sauce, but this was a VERY nice change for a very delicious pizza!

Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2007
The low calorie count is what originally drew me to this recipe. I found the slight "tang" of the balsamic vinegar a pleasant surprise! This was my first time using BV. If you're looking for the typical "heavy" stuffed 'shrooms, this recipe is definitely NOT for you... for a light, tasty appetizer though, I loved it. I actually made only two servings, and the second serving was almost as tasty even reheated in the microwave.

Mushroom Rice

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2007
Overall, this was a good recipes - nothing too original, but tasty. I used minute-brown rice; next time I will definitely use regular-cook rice. I added my own spice choices to it. It was tasty though!

Lemon Raspberry White Chocolate Mousse Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2006
I really wish I had read the reviews on this cake before making it. I followed the directions up until combining the cream & chocolate. I (admit it!) messed up and put the cream in before mixing it, and tried to compensate by adding powdered sugar. Needless to say, it ended up as a big, gloppy mess. Now that I've thrown out the entire batch, my naked cake waiting for its frosting, I'm off to Cub Foods to buy some whip cream. I'm just going to use regular pre-whipped cream and the raspberry mix. I'm also going to add a little sugar to the raspberries, as one reviewer suggested.
