This is one of the first things we learned to prepare in 7th grade home ec. Try it over chow mein noodles.

Pork Chops a la Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2009
This recipe has been used by my mother in law for more than 35 years. It was one of my husband's favorites growing up. He is the fussiest eater alive, so that is saying something. I will say that I like to prepare this using bone in chops versus boneless and on the stove top versus the crockpot. Once you add the soup, simmer for an hour or so on very low heat or until falling of the bone tender.

Chop Suey

I followed this recipe to a "T". I thought it was great~! My 3 year old helped make it and she really enjoyed it as well. I was surprised at how easy, quick and tasty it was. I served it over chow mein noodles. I will be making this again. Thanks for the recipe!

Best Ever Meatloaf I

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2008
This is a great basic recipe. You just can't mess it up. I always double the recipe and make two loaves; one for dinner and one for the freezer. My husband even likes it the next day reheated. He is normally "allergic" to leftovers, so that is quite a compliment.

Excellent! I also put the beans onto the tortillas as some others suggested. My whole family (including the kids) LOVED this!

Slow-Cooked Country Ribs in Gravy

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2007
This was a great recipe. The ribs were tender and had a nice flavor. I liked how easy it was to prepare. Instead of cooking on high for an hour and low for 2-3 more, I just cooked on low for 8 hours and the results were delicious. Thanks for the recipe!

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2007
This was so easy and had an absolutely FANTASTIC flavor! I added a little cajun seasoning to mine and omitted the pepper. I also did not have garlic powder, so I added minced garlic to the melted butter. I sauteed bay scallops in olive oil, garlic and cajun seasoning, then I transferred them to the sauce and poured it all over pasta! This is a real keeper! TRY IT, you will not be dissapointed.

Urban Legend Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2007
These were great! Super moist and full of flavor. I really liked the oatmeal ground up, it gives an extra special flavor without having the "chunks". I baked mine for 9 minutes, 6-8 was too little time. I also did not add the nuts. Thanks for the great recipe, I will use it again!

I added a few red pepper flakes and a little more seasonings, but my husband and I thought they turned out very tender, full of flavor and we will be saving this recipe to make again. Thanks so much!
