Allie's Mushroom Pizza

Reviewed on Oct. 2, 2009 by Morgan
A better version of this good basic recipe: 1. use naan bread insetad of pizza crust. this way you can feed however many you like, from 1 to 10! 2. use white truffle oil or garlic olive oil instead of the olive/sesame combo. 3. put some garlic salt and pepper on top. 4. after the 5 or so minutes it takes to finish this, drizzle a tiny bit more truffle oil and a little more garlic salt. a delicious, simple, quick fix for a light meal!

Mondi's Super Simple Chicken

Reviewed on Oct. 1, 2009 by Morgan
Reviewers are right, this smells wonderful while baking. I didn't have any lemon but that sounded like a nice addition so I did add some lemon pepper along with the garlic salt. I also added a little extra butter and spooned it back over the chicken when it was finished. As long as you know how to improvise and add spices, this is a good starter recipe.

Marie's Easy Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed on Sep. 23, 2009 by Morgan
I browned the roast in olive oil after seasoning all sides with onion powder, garlic salt, lots of fresh ground black pepper and a little cayenne pepper. I did not have onion soup mix so I added a little more onion powder. I then put it in the slow cooker with beef stock. I added potatoes, carrots and celery about 3 hours before it was done. I made some gravy with the stock after it was finished and it was super. Very good canvas for individualized tastes to take over!
