Creamy Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2008
I made this thinking it would be super simple and I had all the ingredients. AFTER I got it cooking I had MAJOR doubts about it but it was to late to turn back so I hoped for the best. It was GREAT! So good! NO KIDDING! We served the sauce over rice and my husband RAVED and he is NOT a big pork fan. This one goes into my cookbook and I will make it again. The ONLY change I made was I did not use any salt (the bacon is salty enough) and I didn't use the paprika. THANKS for posting this most excellent dish!

Roasted Red Pepper Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2008
This sauce is SO GOOD! I've made it with both jarred peppers and freshly roasted under the broiler.. I sautee onions with the garlic for a little extra flavor, and hubby likes to add a bunch of fresh grated Parmesan.. It's great over spinach or mushroom ravioli or pasta and grilled chicken.. This sauce is so easy to make and tastes just as good (if not better!) than what you can get at a restaurant..

Seven Layer Tortilla Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2008
This was quite good.. I added chicken to the layer with the tomatoes and cilantro and beans which I thought made this recipe a 5 star, but it wasn't written in which makes it a 4 without the chicken. Enjoy!

Classic Bran Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2008
Good, but a little grainy.. I think next time I will try to powder the wheat bran so it is less grainy, otherwise these had an amazing taste and I will make them again.

Banana-Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2008
I've made this bread so many times in the past couple months. It is so delicious! I only use 1/4c. veg./canola oil and 1/2 c. unsweetened applesauce. This makes it pretty tasty and healthy. Updated review 6/8/09-add 1/2 c. dried cherries in place of dried cranberries. This is even better.

Best Ever Meatloaf I

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2008
This IS the best ever! My first meatloaf lol and it turned out perfect! I added only two small variations ... I pressed one clove of garlic and added about two tablespoons of Pick A Peppa sauce. My Mom loved it and is going to start using this recipe herself! She took a piece home to my brother. It was moist and held together and was wonderful. And here's the kicker ... my boyfriend who happens to be a top chef always said he didn't like meatloaf so we never have it which is why I looked up a recipe and made it myself. He had only had his Mom's before and never made it himself. He tried it and finished it off haha, he said it was "awesome!". It will probably be a once a week at our house now. Thanks for the awesome recipe! Sandy

Herb Marinated London Broil

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2008
This was an OK dish, it didn't really have the flavor I was hoping for. I think "if" I make this again, I'll add more seasoning than the recipe calls for to see if that helps.

Bolognese Sauce with Meat

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2008
I LOVED IT! OMGosh..so, so good! I DID add an extra tomato and cut BACK on the salt since the prosciutto is salty...I actually used about 1/4 teasp. of salt. Now...bad news..my husband did NOT like it...he prefers a WETTER sauce. This is not a coat your pasta with tomato sauce-sauce. To me it's more the consistancy of a sloppy joe...but...tossed in pasta it WILL coat the noodles with flavor. I am giving it 5 BIG stars for ME personally...I WILL make it again but make it more "saucy" for hubby. THANKS for such a GREAT recipe!
