Cornbread Muffins I

I will never be allowed to make jiffy again. These were absolutely AMAZING. If you aren't a corn bread person you will be after these. I did skip the corn because I just felt it was weird with corn.

Pizza Casserole

This recipe is so easy and extremely tasty. I'm not a pepperoni person so I used sausage instead and skipped the green pepper, but I LOVED this! It was so easy even my husband could make it.

Potato Chip Cookies

I a little leery of this recipe. Only 1/2 cup sugar, no egg. So, I added 1/4 c. brown sugar and 1 egg. I also added some butterscotch chips to half the batter. They are very tasty.

If you're looking for a crispy chocolate chip cookie, here's your recipe. The flavor of these cookies is fantastic. I've always used the Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies but these cookies are so good, I don't know if I can go back to soft. Hmmm........

Easy Pizza Sauce III

All I had on hand was a 8 oz. can tomato sauce and a can Campbells tomato soup. I used that and spices as listed. This was very good and I'm sure with exactly the right ingredients, it would be even better. Thank you for the recipe. My pizza was delicious.

Easy Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream

OK, I did what lots of us do...I changed things a bit. I used 2 C. half & half and 2 C. heavy cream and 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 tsp. vanilla paste and of course the Eagle Brand. I froze it in my Cuisinart ice-cream maker (the 2 qt. model) and it came out VERY good! No after taste and it froze beautifully. Was the vanilla flavor strong? I don't think so. IMHO if you are going to go to all the trouble of making something from scratch then don't skimp...I used really good vanilla and cream so maybe that's what this recipe is missing? Anyway, bottom line? I had really good results with this simple recipe and will add it to my forever cookbook.

Ham 'n' Cheese Egg Bake

Gramma's Apple Bread Pudding
