About me:
I grew up in a house with delicious flavors wafting from the kitchen. My father would create wonderful dishes, and I remember my sister and I coming down stairs early one morning and Dad had 72 beautiful, little meatballs, sitting on the counter, ready for the pot. This was before 7 a.m.!!! Mom didn't like him in the kitchen, at first, then realized he could make the meals every weekend. I have been known to start a pot of beans, even before I've had my morning coffee!

DeeAnn's Cheesy Bacon Cabbage

Reviewed on Aug. 3, 2008 by Linda
I have made this 3 times now-they want it once a week. I used pkgd. bacon pieces and a little oil to cook the cabbage. Added onion, garlic and sprinkled just a handful of cheese on top. Really good flavors and a must have.

Vidalia Onion Pie

I cut the recipe in half and made 1 pie. Delicious! I added more onions then reduced and carmelized them for that sweet flavor. Added chopped tomato and a few bacon bits. Excellent recipe!

Hawaiian Millionaire Pie

This was good and easy and had a lot of flavor going on. I don't like to bake so this was right up my alley. Different.
