About me:
I live with my wife and my dog, Tasha, who is an Akita. We are really blessed in the fact that we both enjoy being in the kitchen, as well as spending time with one another. I am disabled and so I do most of the cooking during the week so that my wife can focus on her career. It seems to work for us, except on weekends when I have to let her into "my" kitchen". She is incredible in there so it's not that much of a sacrifice. Friends and family say that we are perfect together because I cook and she bakes.

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed on Jan. 30, 2009 by cakegirl680
I just made this cheesecake for a work potluck, and it was fab! I got so many compliments on how moist and creamy it was, and several people said it was the best they ever had. I have to admit I was very nervous about making it, as this was my very first cheesecake attempt-but just be sure to follow the directions and make sure to use a water bath!

Mini Cheesecakes I

We love these! Although I keep the Nilla wafers whole in the bottom. But these are great little treats for family get togethers- everyone will love them, and they are so wonderfully easy to make.

Taco Dip I

This is one of our family favorites! Although, I leave the olives off, cause we are not big fans! This stuff goes really fast- my family has been known to polish one off in about 15-20 minutes!!
