Strawberry Spinach Salad I

Reviewed on Apr. 13, 2008 by Ford Prefect
Just add another positive review to the pile. If I had anything negative to say, it would be about the high amount of sugar in the dressing. I might cut that down or sub it with some honey or something next time.

Chococonut Chip Cookies

Reviewed on Apr. 4, 2008 by Julie
The first time I made these I followed the recipe exactly, but for 2 TB of milk. They were just ok. Tasted a lot like a regular choc chip cookie. I didn't care for them, but boyfriend and kids ate them up. Made them again today and cut the choc chips down to 1 cup and grated a square of semisweet chocolate into the dough. Also I toasted the coconut in the preheated oven before folding into the dough. The coookies taste so much better with the toasted coconut!

One-Dish Rockfish

Reviewed on Apr. 2, 2008 by Ford Prefect
Substitution: Chardonnay for Vegetable Broth (Who has this stuff in their house anyway?) and Red Snapper for Rockfish I also sliced up the entire lemon and covered all the fillets with them. I don't think it made much difference. I didn't season with salt and pepper whatsoever. I tend to leave that for the table. This is a nice, simple way to prepare some fish. I think using the wine altered the taste profile a bit, so I'd likely make some other seasoning choices next time, but I liked it overall.
