Better than goulash we had at a German restaurant a couple of weeks ago.

German Spaetzle Dumplings

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2008
For some reason my dough was extremely sticky. I purchased a spaetzle maker and the dough stuck to it. I had to tear little pieces off by hand. I cooked in chicken broth. Very yummy! I cannot wait to make again.

Yummy Quiche

I made two different quiches for a brunch and this quiche was the only one that had leftovers. Tasty, but not as good as the ham and spinach one I made.

White Chili II

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2008
I really liked this recipe after I tweeked it around abit. I added only 3 cups of chicken stock so it was thicker. Left out the oregeno. Added two fresh Jalapeno's. I used 4 cans of the beans and blended two of them so it was creamier. After I slow cooked it for awhile I added about 2 cups of montery jalepeno pepper cheese to the pot. This one is a keeper and I am sure I will still tweek it around.

Shrimp Kisses

My bf's father made these and added a sliver of jalapeno with the cheese. Use thin bacon so that it gets crispy and the shrimp does not get overcooked. He grilled the shrimp kisses and absolutely delicious!!

Grilled Bacon Jalapeno Wraps

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2008
Awesome! Spiced up the cream cheese mixture with cheddar cheese, part of a ranch packet, and worch. sauce. For some reason, the jalapenos I used were super, super spicy (and we like spice) so cannot wait to make again with the suggestion of boiling the jalapenos in hot water for a few minutes first.

Chocolate Mousse

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2008
Very easy to make. Used Gran Marnier instead of water and vanilla and dark chocolate chips. The chips did not melt as creamy as I would have liked, but it actually gave the dessert an interesting texture. Cannot wait to make again. Next time will make a white chocolate and the dark and layer them.

Kielbasa and Potato Bake

This was easy and tasty with some additional cayenne pepper, fresh garlic, and topped at the end with cheddar cheese and french fried onions. Also used 3/4 C milk and 3/4 C sour cream. Par-boiled the potatoes first and it only took a half hour to cook.

Cheesy Potato Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2008
I added 5 slices of thick bacon, crumbled. I used 1 cup of both sour cream and mayo. Added some extra spices: garlic powder, salt, and cayenne pepper. Everyone was wowed away by this potato salad. Everyone said they loved better than the traditional potato salad. I have made numerous times in the last few weeks and every time it is a winner. I also omitted the sugar.
