Minnesota Pork Chops

Reviewed on Jul. 26, 2008 by jennkl
This was delicious! Made this in the crock-pot because I didn't want to turn the oven on. Like others I used chicken broth instead of water and I also used cream of mushroom with roasted garlic soup. I cooked this on low for almost 5 hours and the pork came out so tender and juicy. The rice was a little mushy but that's because it was done in the Crock-pot. We will surely be having this again!

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed on May 12, 2008 by PAULA121
I made these for our Mother's Day brunch and they turned out perfect!! I don't have a bread machine so I used the tips from another reviewer (mcatherwood) which were spot on. 1.) 7-8 oz Active Dry Yeast instead of bread machine yeast. 2.) Mix with hands 3.) heat oven to 200 degrees and turn off. Let dough rise in oven for 1 hour in mixing bowl with damp paper towels covering bowl. 4.) line 9x13 with buttered wax paper. 5.) I made my dough and assembled the rolls the night before and put them in the fridge overnight. I took them out of the fridge about 1 hour before I wanted to cook them so they could come to room temp and rise a bit more. 6.) Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. 7.) Took the rolls out of the pan immediately then spread the frosting on top 8.) made double the frosting so we would have extra (also great for fruit dipping or Oreos). Thanks for the great recipe and instructions.

Snow on the Mountain Green Beans

Reviewed on Mar. 13, 2008 by jennkl
These were yummy. I am not really a big fan of lemons but still added the juice and I think the lemon was a bit too much but the hubby loved them. Used garlic and herb feta and they were yummy. We had my BIL over for dinner and he was eating them right out of the pan! Served with baked bbq chicken and chef joe's mac & cheese. What a great meal! N*R
