We have mimosa'a every year on New Year's Eve Day...and sometimes again on New Year's Day, if we have any champagne left. They are a splended treat...I have added a splash of peach schnapps to them before too...very good!!!!

this is really good. I love the salty/sweet combo and it's versatile, can be used with any flavor. I used orange and added mandarin oranges for Christmas and everyone loved it.

Mint Buttercream Frosting With Dark Chocolate Glaze

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2008
this is a good start to a great frosting. It was a little too crunchy for my tastes so I added extra milk and vanilla pudding (because that's all I had on hand) to make it creamier. Next time I would probably use whipped topping.

Lasagna Roll Ups

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2008
My husband hates tofu and he enjoyed this lasagne. My kids devoured it. I didn't have frozen spinach ans used canned instead(one) - no problem. I accidentally put the entire jar of sauce into the mix - again, no problem; it didn't end up too "soupy".

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2008
Very good!! This is the best CHCH cookie recipe I've tried out of the top 5-6 I've tried on this site. I have no idea why some would call it "cakey" They must be doing something wrong. I followed the recipe exactly and they turned out perfect.

This is the BEST fish recipe I have tried in a very long time...I used Tilapia. My husband ate it right up and asked me to make it again soon. That's a bonus since he is not a big fish fan.

Oven-Dried Beef Jerky

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2008
Just a quick note...I used to make jerky for a local grocery store...you do not have to bake it that long. Try it again at 200 degrees and stick a wooden spoon in the oven door so that is cracked a tad. Bake it for about 1 1/2 hours. According to what I see, the ingredients should make this recipe taste great...trust me and try it again.

Joey's Peanut Butter Cookies

Not that great. I'd say this is a basic PB cookie recipe. It wasn't bad just not it's hyped up to be. It's not chewy or soft, it got crunchy and hard quickly. I'll keep looking.

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2007
EH, just so-so. I prefer my cookies chewy and soft and these were soft but not really chewy but not cakey either, very in between. They taste good, my kids loved them but that's not saying much. Oh and they were crunchy the next day, not even the next day, I made them at night and they were crunchy in the morning and yes I stored them correctly. I'll keep looking....

This is very good! I used walnuts and liked it but some people said they'd prefer pecans but said it was still good with walnuts. It's the perfect sweetness and a terrific texture. Definitely a keeper.

This is okay, not exactly a genious idea but it's easy and fun and does taste good. It's good for family but like others said it's not really guest appropriate. Great for kids though and fun to play with different combos.
